OK, Harrisburg area here....gas jumped 30 cents over night to 3.99.  I've never seen it jump that much in 24 hours.  What are the rest of you seeing?

Local WaWa went from 3.81 a day or two ago to 3.95 today. Vladimir and OPEC say "Thank You". You just know Putin is going to be able to sell oil. His trick might be getting paid for it but I'd be surprised if his crowd didn't have that figured out before the Ukraine buildup started.

ALL OUT on this guy

Even though he's wearing his hat backwards he threw it to the middle and he recognized his target had those two other people beaten in coverage.

ALL IN

I’ll say they won’t trade or sign another QB (unless they trade Minshew). And they won’t draft one in the first two rounds.

The board will be full of excuses about why the Eagles didn’t make a move, but still convinced the Eagles think Hurts sucks like they do.

If they don't make a move it will be because they don't view these QB prospects as a significant enough upgrade, and/or they see the dire need to draft young talent at other positions.  I don't believe for an instant they view Hurts as a franchise QB.

Neither do I but I do believe they thought he had a good year and will get better and they want to see him next year.

Yeah, you could tell how much confidence they had him when they completely revamped the offense to hide his passing.

Excited for 2022.

Of course Hurts is still their QB. Until he isn't.

Kevin Kolb was Andy's quarterback too. It only took what, 2 days for that to change?

There's no point replacing Hurts (#15-20) for anything less than a top 10 QB.

Which limits your options, especially if you think the team is two years away, eliminating an overpay for a veteran QB.

It's lazy analysis to say Hurts is #15-20 and that's that. There's more nuance to evaluating a player and how he can succeed or not. There's more to it than just where you think he ranks among the starting QBs. Never mind the method you use to rank Hurts that high is terrible...

It's football. Not everything is a computer calculation.

Actually it took 22 mins and 43 26 seconds.

I've already begun the process of coming to terms with Howie trading up for Willis.

The NFL last season was one of the worst products that's ever been fielded by the league (especially from a league wide QB standpoint).  Hurts being 'in the 15-20' range is a mirage to even the most hopeful.  There's already an upgrade on the roster, but I agree...there isn't a blatant upgrade on the market via trade or draft.

I know they probably don't have the ammo, but can you imagine how good the 49ers could be if they managed to get Watson?

Still prefer Petrie and McKinley  , but  4.2 , wow . I think he runs 4.3

I disagree, wholeheartedly. You MAY be right, that from a short term perspective, Hurts is a 15-20 QB in terms of overall production, including his running. But not from a "playing NFL QB” perspective. There are 25 better QBs at reading defenses, and throwing the ball. And the longer we wait to get a better thrower of the ball, the worse it is for the development of our young WRs. It’ll make Goedert look good, because that’s his safety net. But it doesn’t utilize the skill set of Smith and Watkins and basically anyone outside of those three need not even be on the field. Even a "Less valuable” QB in terms of overall production including rushing, but who can throw and read a defense, will at least allow our pass catchers to develop until we find a top ten overall QB

Wish he were taller, on tape he seems to be a one read then run QB, he may have the knowledge of where to go with the ball on the whiteboard but in a game will he, it's one thing to recognize it on the board it's another having proper footwork, looking off a safety seeing over the o line and delivering the ball on time and with accuracy.

When I watch Willis I see hurts with a bigger arm.🤷‍♂️

Wheaties???

Jackpot!  Found an old video (you can tell) of the second level of the Linc right before kickoff of the week 17 Eagles-Cowboys 44-6 game.  Everyone still going absolutely nuts at all the impossible things that happened for the game to mean something.

So the Eagles brass made it pretty clear today how they feel about Jalen Hurts; usually I’d be here dunking on @downundermike and co but there is a disaster going on in Europe right now so don’t really care as much.

I’ll be back to commence said dunking closer to the draft when (hopefully) the mess in Europe is resolved.

He will be dunking on you, dont worry

This happens every time. Howie will never go out and say "we don’t want player X here next year”. There’s 0 point in doing so. Hurts is the guy until he’s no longer the guy.

They already have ideas.  Howie is a splash guy, he loves to make a splash.  Meanwhile, there's no commitment talking to the QBs at the combine.  Now, if they bring them in for their top 30 visits... that's another story.  Talking to them at the Combine is just due diligence, nothing more at this point.

Yes, true.  Howie just makes me nervous.  I think we have a lot of needs, and I'm not sure that QB is nearly as bad a need as some other positions.
