So he wins the law suite and the girls all admit to making this stuff up.....................still no? (that's not going to happen but you said no matter what)

(that's not going to happen but you said no matter what) I see what you’re trying to do here. But The no matter what is more so when it comes to a trade package. As in even if you could get Watson for only a 2nd, I still don’t support it. But sure, to fit your hypothetical that absolutely wouldn’t happen, if all 20+ Women came forward & said they lied and it was a giant conspiracy, I’d probably change my mind.
March 8, 20223 yr 7 minutes ago, 4for4EaglesNest said: Yeah, I was thinking. DK for a 1st. Watson for 2 1sts and Hurts. Saddle up partner. We would need that fire power because our defense will be giving up 30+ a game against any team with a competent QB. Then you have to extend Metcalf. Not a lot of cap resources to replenish our lack of talent on D.

March 8, 20223 yr People can dislike a Watson move, but the Eagles have to do what's best for the franchise. I stopped caring about morality years ago. How many NFL players have we rooted for who've done Fed up stuff behind the scenes and in their personal lives that we just never found out about? How many hundreds of NFL players that we've rooted for over the years were absolute scumbags but it just never came to light? I stopped caring about liking people. I want my team to win football games. That's it. I want parades. Kevin Spacey has been accused of even worse than Watson. Sexual assault of underaged boys. But I still watch his movies. I think he's a terrific actor. American Beauty is one of my all-time favorite movies, as is Se7en. And the guy is allegedly a scumbag. But I can admire him as a professional and his talent, and be entertained by him. Kevin Spacey's work has brought me great joy throughout my life. Both in film and TV. I look at Watson as sort of the same thing. If the allegations are true, he's a creep at best and at worst a criminal. But the product on the field is a means to an end. To entertain and bring me joy. And if people have issues with him playing, that's on the courts and the NFL. Not the Eagles. If he's allowed to play.

I'd be all for it if I was sure Watson wasn't a perverted sex offender. I'm just not there yet though. Now he hasn't played in a year and the legal situation is still muddy.

March 8, 20223 yr Don't want DK. For one thing, what was the reason he fell off this season. My suspicion is with teams going to more two deep safeties, his deep ball prowess will have less value, and he's not a great route runner or has great hands - take away the big plays and he's meh. Hopefully, Howie will stick with the rebuild, I'm not against trading draft picks for players, but I want players who are cost controlled at a reasonable asset cost - ideally, young players blocked from a starting job that a team wants to recoup something instead of them walking in two years. Denver is going to lose on this deal, they had a very good defense which was a bit of a veteran driven fluke, they'll probably regress back to the middle of the pack. They have a mediocre OL with a 30 year old LT and a 33 year old right tackle. They have some young receivers, but they're still unproven. So I don't see Wilson carrying Denver any further into the playoffs than he was able to do in Seattle the last five years with as good of a defense and Lockett and Metcalf at WR. Eagles should resist the temptation to make this kind of move for two more years, clear out the expensive veterans, build up young depth, set up a great situation for a good but not great QB (i.e. a Stafford) to put them over the top if Hurts proves he can't improve enough to be that guy. The odds of landing an elite QB are almost zero, the odds of finding a good QB are pretty good if you're patient and wait for the right opportunity.
