Well he did do something. Like, be annoyed his team was winning without him.

Good god, already posted twice that this was false.  Darren Sproles gave an account of what happened, and it is not the drama that the McLane tweet made it out to be.

Can’t read it, what does it say?

Wentz is such a bad team mate and leader the Colts already decided to get rid of him before the total collapse?

Yeah and watch how successful Green Bay will be by giving their QB 20- 25% of their salary cap every year.

Yeah. I'd much rather not have Aaron Rodgers and start the season with Jordan Love. That will help them.

Right, I'm sure he's learned his lesson and there's no way it will happen again.  In my experience, most people never make the same mistake twice.

And if he doesn't, you instantly have a top tier QB in a wide open conference. Look, I get it. Dude's scummy as hell. But, provided there are no criminal charges hanging over him, and he can be had on a discount, I'd be all over it. He's only 27 and is a top 10 QB overall. Probably #2 in the NFC.

Really.  He plays for a division rival and the Eagles play him twice next year.  What do you think happens if he beats the Eagles in Philly.  This will only make it worse, not make it go away.

Worse?  Maybe for Wentz washers.  The rest of us are fine with moving on from Wentz.

And he probably won’t beat us in Philly anyway.  He’s certainly not known for being "clutch” in high pressure games.  So chances are he loses here.

Plus, Wentz plays in IND next season as well

Still plays against Doug too.

Sarcasm, brother

Steelers, Panthers, Colts, Chickens, and Saints all still in dire need of a starting QB

Colts might cheap out with a Darnold or Trubisky-type; might trade their 2nd round pick now for Jimmy G

Saints might re-sign Winston

Someone will acquire Watson if he stays out of jail

Right? Since rodgers got his second contract they’ve gotten to the divisional round 6 times, nfc title game 5 and 1 super bowl. Missed the playoffs 2 times in 12 years. The horrors

I have read back through your exchange, still trying to figure out the point  you are trying to make.

Aaron Rodgers has absolutely no swag at all though, so the rest is just meaningless.

Young QB on rookie deal + a solid team around him vs

Aging QB with no team around him.

I guess. lol

Wentz gives the Commies the leadership they need to right the ship.

We will see about that.

Prediction: The Commanders will not make the playoffs, and Wentz will be gone after this season.

Exactly. Trust and believe Im not putting on a cape for Wentz but for our fans to pretend he's trash is funny in itself. When you see all the QBs to come and go from the league, there's incredibly worse QBs. He's mistake prone but let's figure our QB situation out before we make fun of them.

He makes crazy mistakes.

Our QB can't throw worth a damn.

So there's that.

So you’re agreeing with me and telling me I’m wrong at the same time. Simply stunning

Yes, there is absolutely no evidence of recidivism among sexual predators, you’re right.

Neither of us have any idea the level of sexual predator he is, if he's even one. Don't have enough information on the situation yet.

What's with these back to back 1:50PM QB news dumps? Jimmy G is getting dealt tomorrow.

I stand by what I said

He's a top 15 QB.

He's an upgrade over Hurts

He's an upgrade over Heinicke/Fitzmagik

You think Carson's top 15?  Meh, maybe barely.  QBs I would rather have: Rodgers, Hebert, Stafford, Mahomes, Josh Allen, Russ,  Dak, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Carr

The question then becomes is he better than: Tannehill, Kyler Murray, Garroppolo, Cousins, Mac Jones

No doubt he's an upgrade over Heinicke / Fitz and I won't get into the Wentz vs. Hurts thing again.

It’s very clear in the first post of the exchange. Being purposefully obtuse is a tired blog defense mechanism. There is no way to get sufficient comfort with Watson’s legal situation to give up anything significant. None.

Ike Reese just said McLane was wrong and is exaggerating.

@downundermike another one

Sure there is. It just won't be enough for YOU.
