No doubt he's an upgrade over Heinicke / Fitz and I won't get into the Wentz vs. Hurts thing again.

 

After the regular season I rated Wentz 18th in the NFL; I thought Reich would get more out of him and he'd be top 12.

I ranked Hurts 22nd and was really disappointed after seeing his playoff debacle vs the Bucs.  I wasn't even expecting a lot and still disappointed

 

The Eagles have 3 first round picks this draft; if there was a way to use only one of them on a QB I'd be all for it.  Not sure that can be done, though.

We will never have that info.  The only people that have to be comfortable with it are Jeff and Howie.  If the grand jury does not decide to file charges this Friday, then you will see teams make legitimate offers for him.

Howie's main competition for Watson, I like our chances.

With how much of a disaster Wentz turned out to be, that's Howie's last two QB draft picks really not being anything to write home about.

What gives anyone confidence Howie is going to find the right one in the 2023 draft?

People talk about sticking with Hurts this season and drafting a QB next year. Not sure how anyone could have confidence Howie will pick the right guy. Dude has invested a 1st and 2nd rounder in QB in the last 6 years and they both Fing blow.

Sadly that may be fair.  The Carson vs. Jalen argument becomes "which crappier QB is the crappiest?"

McLane said in some article that during the SB run when Wentz was hurt he was upset that team was still succeeding and another injured player got into his face and they had to be separated and almost came to blows. 

But it was already in an article in 2019 and now corroraborated by Reese that all it was was Wentz was down because he was hurt and being mopey and Sproles gave him some tough love and told him to stop moping around. And there was no fight or anything more than that.

Except Panthers are a team Watson previously said he'd waive his no trade clause for and the Eagles aren't. 

 

So many people here continue to be in full blown denial about how none of these QBs want to be traded to the Eagles.

Oh yeah I remember that article or whatever  from McLane. I found it hard to believe at the time but glad it was confirmed to be McLane just stirring the pot again. Can’t stand the guy
