The defense was also a problem, but the QB was bad in those games.

No no no it is only the defense. You know like the first cowboys game where we got down 27-7,  but defense scored a td. the offense had like 50 yards total through 2.5 quarters. Hurts had two interceptions and one was returned for a pick 6. Clearly it was just the defense.

Also I fully expect the Eagles to trade for Watson if there will be no criminal case. We will know that Friday. Civil cases won’t bother them. Not a fan but I’m expecting this to happen.

Well, all reports save one to the contrary says, Watson's not on board with that, so I expect not.  And I am glad that he's going to stand in the way of the Eagles being stupid.

Crazy times. He isn't great, but he's definitely better than what they have.

And unfortunately, better than what the Eagles have as well.

I think Mostert is a free agent, and would be interesting. Injuries are a concern. But Ive always wanted to have him back.

Between him, Mack, and D'Ernest Johnson there are some good, cheap options.

I hope not myself. I really think if he says yes, he will be in Philly. I don’t think the Texans care to let him sit for another year if they don’t get what they want in a trade. The Texans could void his guarantees over conduct if the civil cases don’t go his way. He may not have a choice if he wants to play for another team.

this of course assumes he hasn't learned a lesson and will continue to have off field issues, which I would hope that if the Eagles felt that to be the case, that they would not trade for him. In other words, If they do trade for him, they would have to feel like he is putting that behind him and wont get into similar trouble in the future... some guys do learn and get better. SOme not

The WRs available there will be better players than the RBs.

Id take Pickens, Metchie, Pierce, Watson over the RBs in this draft.

What lesson should he have learned?  Is it the don't sexually assault women, or don't try to strong arm your employer to include you in hiring people that you approve of?

I was just looking at the FA RB list again and I noticed you can put back together that backfield that was really good for San Fran. Brieda, Mostert, and Coleman are all free agents.

Yea true, but I imagine they’ll pick up a WR in FA. Not advocating for a RB in 2nd round, just saying that I’d be ok with them doing it.
