True, and Vick did his time paid his dues, so a bit of a different scenario.

And absolutely owned up to it and actually became an advocate. I struggled with Vick but a very different level of accountability and growth

He is 100% correct. 3 firsts for that guy is beyond idiotic.

A lot of players love Philly fans b/c they're passionate (ask them about playing in quiet, empty stadiums at home), and have the sense of humor to appreciate the boos as well as the cheers.

The players who can't handle it tend to be less secure and less competitive - and generally no loss.

If only Howie could identify the weak minded ones that can't handle it and draft guys who can...

Zaquandre White looks to be one of the most underrated RBs in this class.

I watched Kevin Harris, loved him, and never watched this guy for some reason.

He is 6'1'' 215 and runs with good power but also excellent elusiveness for a RB his size. He is a good pass catcher, and even runs routes from the WR position. Good pass blocker as well. What stands out the most to me is his contact balance. He is really hard to knock off his feet. He can get knocked off balance but always gets his feet back under him to keep going.

I cant really find any injury info on him. It seems he is under the radar do to minimal usage. He was recruited by Florida State. Then transferred to a JUCO. Then transferred to South Carolina where he gradually earned more time. But he has minimal tread.

Guy looks beastly. As much as I liked Kevin Harris, this guy is a more rounded player without the back surgery like Harris had.

Sign me up.

I suspect with the start of free agency looming on Monday there are a lot of teams placing calls to Watson’s agent wanting to find out if their team is on the "Yes” list for waiving his no-trade clause, or the "No” list.  I’d be very surprised if Howie doesn’t already have his answer on where the Eagles stand.  You might start to see tweets this weekend on which teams are in/out

If Howie starts spending on Monday on a WR, DE, or S for any kind of large money that’ll be a pretty clear signal the Eagles are a "No” for Watson.

Interesting. When I was watching I thought- this looks like the only athlete at RB that compares to Kenneth Walker in this whole draft. Then you post this, I get down to the chart and they are right next to each other and above all others in the elusive and explosive category.

Also interesting on that graph, it really makes haskins look bad. I love Haskins. I can agree with the not elusive or exlosive category for him. But I think he has just enough of both combined with the angry category that is not considered. And thats what makes him.

Yeah, I agree on Haskins.   He's got more Jordan Howard or Jay Ajayi in him.  He's not elusive or explosive, but he moves the pile and seems to always get the tough yards that a team desperately needs.

Zaq. White reminds me a bit of Correll Buckhalter, pre-knee injuries... with maybe a bit more speed.

I mean to be fair it is very hard to judge how people will handle certain situations. You can make the best guesses and assumptions at times, but until people are placed into a situation, you never will truly know.

It is like hiring someone that seems perfect for the job, but then they fail because the chemistry is not there with other employees.

Watching a guy in college take plays off would be an indicator of something negative regarding competitiveness... conversely watching a guy like George Pickens destroy defenders blocking them would be an indication of grittiness (though, he might have some anger issues too!).

Unlike basing everything on an interview like in a 9-5 job, we can see these players in game situations in a variety of situations and allow folks to get a better sense of their mental toughness.   It's good to see a guy in adversity to see how he responds to it.

What he does is an indicator of how he sees and treats other people. He put himself above others.

early in my career an admin I worked with had a sign in her tiny cube - "the true measure of a mans worth is how he treats somebody who can do him absolutely no good.”

you may bottom line with winning. I want more.

We just got rid of an expensive head case (and Ben as well), do we want to pay out of the butt for another head case (not just the sex thing, but his demands for control)?

I'm betting the Eagles pick up Pascal in FA.

He's coming off a down season (Wentz, emphasis on running game) but Sirianni knows him and he can probably can be had on the cheap, and will fill a hole going into the draft.

I expect them to pay for a safety before WR, b/c college safeties often need a year to transition, even if you bring back McLeod, do you want him, Epps, Wallace and a rookie?

I think Roseman does a good job, but that is a fair thing to say.

And to think we almost got Ridley…

Yup buck was a bit bigger than Zaq but like Zaq had pretty quick feet for a guy thats a bit bigger than a little scat back.

Loved buckhalter was so disheartening that he always got hurt.

I guess if you asked me if Jordan Howard was particularly explosive or elusive, I’d say not really - he knows how to follow zone blocking and grind out yards. I assume elusiveness is measured in missed tackles, but I’m not sure how yards after contact are handled (this might be discussed in the article).

yeah. I agree. Jordan Howard is neither. And there are a TON of RBs in this draft that are sort of like him, but better.

Your posting is why Watson won’t come here

I just noticed the pro day results of Jack Sanborn. Overshadowed by Chenal's amazing workout on the same team, Sanborn had a 4.05 shuttle (95th percentile), and 6.81 3 cone (93rd percentile). No slouch himself.

It was a joke Sally Sensitive. Unclutch your pearls.

How is Juju younger than John Hightower?

It would be so Howie to miss on Watson, and then give up 3 #1's next draft to trade up for CJ Stroud who Fing blows.

He was born more recently.

Watson isn’t coming here pls stop

Hightower was born before Juju.

Not that I expect the Eagles to end up with Watson. However, if they give up three first round picks for him like some people are talking about they are morons. The absolute most I would give up is 15, a first next year, and Hurts OR 51.
