Doesn't mean the Eagles will get him, but don't think Wilson is right here. Wilson also reported multiple times last year a Watson trade was "imminent and could go down any hour now" when it never was and never was going to be until the legal stuff was resolved.

agreed. Wilson doesnt have all the info, or he is doing what hes told and keeping the eagles interest quiet. In either scenario, hes not giving us accurate info on the eagles involvement. 

Bummed about Cleveland and Amari. Really wanted the Browns to pick a WR at #13 so a defensive player can fall to us. We need WRs going early.

You should all know by now not to believe a word anyone says right now unless something is official. Teams, agents, players, etc are all using guys as public mouthpieces to get information out, sometimes true and sometimes not true on purpose. I'm not saying the Eagles are getting Watson, and I'm not in favor of it. I'm just saying, believe nothing right now in terms of ''rumors.''

 The guys from the Athletic have said it numerous times, "good to elite NFL talent doesn’t get traded, released, signed, etc.. w/o some involvement from Howie Roseman”.

I still think they are in it. Rapoport said they were in the mix, Schefter retweeted the Banner article saying he thinks Philly is the most expected landing spot. Both wouldn’t do that if they were out.

Yup. We were finalists in both the Jalen Ramsey and original Amari Cooper trades.

There's a reason why Howie is such a good trader. He makes every call.

Howie's been asked about Watson at numerous press conferences and never said no. Compare that to the Giants who flat-out said no.

Eagles an option until he's traded.

Yup. Howie has a lot of warts but not being active enough in trade talks sure isn't one of em. 

Regardless of Watson, gotta think Howie does something. Would be amazed if we used all of our firsts. 

There is a chance he sees how terrible the entirety of the NFC is and thinks "screw it, Jalen and a beefed defense can give us a shot"

Honestly depending on the cost, I would. Think he would do well in this scheme and he's still fairly young.

Frankly there’s multiple people (another local reporter yesterday that’s new on the beat. I believe from temple) saying they are out/cooled on watson and others saying they are still really engaged. So it’s who knows. I tend to believe if the eagles moved on or are out it’s cause they talked to Watson’s reps and they made it clear he wouldn’t drop his NTC. Otherwise I’d still think they’d be in it. 

Too many conflicting reports to be sure what's going on but if the report the Eagles moved on a while ago are true I assume that is because he didn't want to come here. I don't see Howie walking away from a player he had interest in unless that was the only and best option.
