"might" makes it a lock. Makes me feel all warm and cozy inside. Yea he wont force another trade in a year or two leaving us with nothing

Christian Harris - LB Alabama 83. Quay Walker - LB Georgia 153. Jeremy Ruckert - TE Ohio State 161. Charleston Rambo - WR Miami 165. Cole Strange - OG Chattanooga 209. DeAngelo Malone - DE Western Kentucky Assuming we can snag a vet WR in FA and letting Hurts/Minshew battle it out for the starting job, this defense gets drastically better, younger and faster. We get multiple players at each level. We add some OL depth and get a true TE 2 who can also block. Ideally I wouldve traded out for a first next season, but none of the trades seemed worth it to me. I'll send this to Howie. I rate this draft 3 Howies out of 5. I am not sure about Elam or Hill in the first. I like Harris. I think Jordan Davis is a good pick but I wonder if there was a DE prospect available. Rambo doesn't have size. I would like them to get someone with size at WR. I can't imagine they draft a TE but Ruckert is probably good value at that pick.

We can say whatever we want about the Eagles but the offensive line is massively better than anything he had in Houston. I would also argue the running a game is better then anything he’s had since he’s been in Houston. The only position on offense the Eagles are not as good as what the Texans had is at wide receiver. And yet he still has Smith who could be even better with Deshaun Watson. The narrative that Deshaun Watson wouldn’t be even better here with all that or couldn’t elevate the offense even higher is erroneous. The real issues are can you morally deal with what happened off the field, is he going to prison and what’s it going to cost.

I actually think they’re going to try to build around him with a new GM and whoever the head coach is Second if they do trade him they’re going to ask for more than what the Eagles got with Carson wentz. He’s coming off a very good year in Vegas. He kept that team together considering everything that was going on in that organization. And got them to the playoffs. So the likelihood is you’re going to have a 5-6 team market for him and you may give up a 1st and potentially a conditional 1st. He’s not going to cheap in terms of draft assets in a trade. third if you are trading for him he’s not a bridge quarterback if you are paying that price in draft assets. Which means you have to give him an extension close to around $35-$40 million as he’s on the last year of his contract and how the market rate is. If you believe he’s the guy going forward and you want to pay him that then do it. I don’t think it’s gonna be worth it to do that

Hamilton is probably going to be gone but it's also not a highly drafted position. Dane Brugler had Brisker going at 56 to the Cowboys. I don't think the team will suddenly change how they view the safety position. My guess if they have all 3 picks they will target a DE or CB first. The only exception might be if Hamilton falls to them. If Hamilton is there at 15 it’s the biggest No brainer they’ll ever have. 6 hours ago, HazletonEagle said: I think you mentioned him the other day. He is intriguing. I need to watch. I know I liked Varone McKinley as a guy who hasnt been hyped as much as Brisker and Hill. But I have really, really been liking the idea of Brisker. I feel like if he is available theres no reason to pass on him. I just don’t see them going S in the first. 6 hours ago, SB52 said: This is what worries me about Jordan Davis. Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami) — Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa Obviously, this selection is based on the future of Jason Kelce, who just earned his fourth All-Pro nod. Even if he returns for his age 35 season in 2022, Kelce would be the ideal mentor for Linderbaum, who has exceptional quickness and a nasty streak to dominate defenders. 16. Philadelphia Eagles (from Indianapolis) — Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson With Steven Nelson headed for free agency, cornerback could be a need for the Eagles this offseason. Booth is a terrific athlete and can make plays on the ball — the two most important traits when scouting the position. Booth also has above-average downhill skills to drive and blow up plays near the line of scrimmage. 19. Philadelphia Eagles — George Karlaftis, edge, Purdue The Eagles’ defensive end depth chart will likely look wildly different next season, and Karlaftis would be a welcomed addition. The Purdue pass rusher doesn’t have elite length or twitch, but he is relentless and strong with hand work that is not only violent but also well-timed and strategic to defeat blockers. 51. Philadelphia Eagles — Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming If they pulled this off, I’d have to call my doctor because there’s no way that erection would be gone in 4 hours. 4 hours ago, 315Eagles said: Gonna have to watch highlights of Chad Muma now. Never heard of him. Solid backer. Similar to Logan Wilson in many ways, not just the alma mater. 3 hours ago, SB52 said: There is nothing wrong with adding strength to strength. Drafting Linderbaum or Ekwonu, then plugging them in at RG for a decade would be nice. That being said, the Eagles have a history of finding quality linemen later in the draft. Linderbaum is a pure C. 57 minutes ago, DeathByEagle said: This mock made me throw up in my mouth. 52 minutes ago, DeathByEagle said: Any draft with Ridder in it will make me vomit. Wouldnt touch him no matter were it is in the draft. Not a believer in Ojabo either Feel free to show us yours. That draft addresses a vast majority of our needs. Ridder is far less of a project in R2 than Hurts was. And Ojabo is an athletic freak. After Hutchison, Thibodeaux, and Karlaftis he’s by the far the best option at EDGE.

He didn’t pull any punches on Hurts improvement from year one through this season, "very minimal”. Sheesh. Cosell did throw Mosher off, at the same time I almost drove my car in a ditch, what if the Eagles are going to move forward with this Baltimore (college) offense? Ugh! Cosell was very complimentary towards Smith, said he was better than he thought he would be in his rookie year, and has no trouble beating man coverage. He didn’t love Nelson since Gannon has mostly been a cover 1 man defense since week 8 or 9, but he liked Epps, he has improved and that’s why he was in single coverage with Gronk. He didn’t say Epps was perfect just getting better.

January 21, 20223 yr Howie has made it clear he considers this a rebuilding team. Not fooled by the playoff run. So I don't see him trading for a veteran QB in a win now move.

January 21, 20223 yr QB class is feeling very 2014ish to me. One guy gets overdrafted in the top 5 (Bortles), a couple majorly flawed who knows guys go mid-to-late first (Manziel, Bridgewater), the value emerges in the 2nd (Carr, Garoppolo to a lesser extent).
