I don't believe there's any smoke to this, but Carlton Davis is an under the radar Eagles type move. Still only 25, still some upside, fits their scheme, coming off injury so the deal might not be massive (still gonna be big).

Eagles probably get priced out, but I could see them getting involved.

"amongst other teams" is such a cop out.  Who?

We should get an idea of Howie's intentions in regards to Watson pretty soon.  If we make several splash signings, then we are truly out on Watson.  If you see some 1 year deals and mid level guys, and some restructures, you know we are still in on Watson.

I know.  He'll be 30 by the time the season starts.  He is a piece to add to LB core that is almost complete.  Not a building block.  We need building blocks on defense.  Not 30 year old players who have an extensive injury history.  Bad business.

So I expect it.

Not my preference. I'd much rather draft 1-2 in R 2-5. Chenal, Muma, Harris, Beavers...there are so many talented guys this year.

Wonder if he knows Brady is back in that division?   Don't see him winning anything with either the Saints or Panthers.

LOL, Phillies just signed Brad Hand.  That guy was terrible last year in DC.  Not sure what they were thinking.

Agreed. I'd much rather take Wyatt at 15-16 then move up for Davis.

Howie is trading up to #4 to take Thibodeaux

 I sure hope not. If they want to trade up with the Jets to 10 to grab Walker, I'm ok with that. That's really the only trade up I'd be ok with.

Dude will seriously wave his no trade clause for those two teams?   But not the Eagles.

The Eagles just traded for Watson, Deebo, and Derrick Henry. We don't have to worry about Howie messing up a draft pick until 2025 cause we ain't got any left.

Crazy that football and baseball free agency are basically the same day. Lots of b!tching and complaining the next 72 hours. Love it

Carolina is home, and Nawlins has a LOT of massage parlors.

why would openly want to waste a contract year, free agent money , a rookie contract year just to have a WR2, which is the 4th or 5th option in this offense get discouraged, angry and disgruntled.

People act like there wont be free agent WR's next year or WR's that can be drafted next year(or the following year)

Yes, But I'm not buying a lawn mower before I buy a house.

Because if there is a player you like that fills a need, you take them. Hurts leaves a clean pocket so F building the offensive line as well, right?

Basically that means their sources aren’t as loose lipped as Carolina and NO

This could be a sneaky WR add too

Hell no

I'm far from a cap alarmist, but how TF could the Saints make this work? They're gonna push void years into the 2030s 😂

Most the of the teams he rumored to go to are in the south or in domes. That may be a factor

I guess it’s one way to save Rhule’s job since he couldn’t fix Darnold, as if.

The Saints are less than $7M over the cap, with lots of easy cuts and restructures possible.

Didn’t want him anyways 😢

So how many signings are announced immediately after the tampering period opens, once again proving that teams have been tampering all weekend.
