Everyone has listed a top 3-5 FA or a Day 1 draft pick. Which is dumb. You want to spend a 6th on a WR, have at it.

Gotcha, only Wide outs can catch the ball. Not to mention the WR we have, didnt get enough targets cause our system/Qb doesnt allow it

DJ Chark is not a top 3 FA WR. Nor do I want a 1st round WR. In the draft, I have two sets of targets based on what we do in FA.

If we go X in FA, it leaves us open to taking a nice slot guy in the draft...Khalil Shakir, Skyy Moore, Kyle Phillips would be my targets.

If we grab a slot WR in FA, I'd look at bigger X's...Alec Pierce, Christian Watson, George Pickens, Justyn Ross would be my targets.

Trading Cox immediately puts you 8.7 million over the cap.  The only way to spread it over two years is to trade him post June 1st.  Unlike the post June 1st cut,  you can not DESIGNATE a player a post June 1 trade.  You actually have to wait until June 1st to trade him.

You can restructure his contract then trade him. We're not trading to a place he doesn't want to go anyway.

Alright Howie. Give me my special teams only LB that will start and get cut at some point. I'm ready.

Trading Cox will incur 25M of dead money. We can spread that out over 2 years, but there are no savings.

Unless makes sense to trade Cox for a day 2 pick.

Trading Cox (before June 1st) won't allow us to spread the cost over 2 years...I don't believe you can trade a player before June 1st and designate him a post June 1st trade...

If he is traded for a 2022 draft pick, he will cost you the full $25m cap in in 2022...

If he is traded after June 1st, then you can split the cap hit over 2022 and 2023...but if you do that, you obviously don't get a 2022 draft pick out of it...

I'd rather have more 2023 draft capital than Zion Johnson.

On board with the rest, although Cross won't be around @ 125.

Zion can battle Seumalo for RG this year, and be a very nice Kelce replacement. I hear you though, I just personally like him. And yes, I agree Cross making it to R4 is unlikely. Have to follow their rankings though.

Less than one minute in. Impressive.

We have a top ten TE, we don't have great pass catching RBs unless Sanders rediscovers his hands. Gainwell has potential, Scott isn't Westbrook, however.

You draft BPA, after all these years, Eagle fans should know better - you patch in FA, draft BPA, then figure it out down the road - better to scheme around good players than try to win with mediocre players.

Stoll is an excellent blocking TE, they may expand his role as a receiver this year, he's not a dynamic athlete, but Chad Lewis had a nice career with his 5.0 40. Just find the soft spots underneath.

"While he lacks explosive traits as a receiver, Stoll was graded as the best pass-blocking TE in the NFL by PFF and showed significant upside as a run-blocker."

Problem is Jackson showed promise as a H-back, but will be out until mid-season and probably won't make an impact until 2023.

So they can definitely use a H-back type.

I mean they saw burrow be used like a human piñata and they really wanted to try and stop that

of the realistic WR FA, Chark is a top 3 FA WR. It's basically him and Robinson

Like I said I'm done arguing about it.

But I will say this, next year when the FA or Rookie WR has 37 catches people here gonna be pissed Howie signed him or drafted them. Which will 100000% happen

I'd argue Robinson, Beckham, JuJu and Kirk are all valued above him. Not to mention Davante Adams if he somehow hits the market (which I doubt).

They agreed to terms while the Rams were accepting their Lombardi.

25. But it seems like he’s been in the league a long time but got drafted in 2017.

Oh wow !! Even better

It might have been earlier than that like 4th quarter lol

Juju is a good receiver stuck on the Steelers with an old Ben.

No you can not.  His dead cap hit is due to signing bonus money owed.  You can not restructure that away.  His base salary the next two years is 1.1 and 1.5 million.

He has signing bonus money that is already paid totaling 40.9 million.  When you trade a player, all future signing bonus money spread out into the future becomes due IMMEDIATELY.

I’d love to have Juju on the Eagles.

Restructure will cause you to incur MORE dead money. What a restructure is is converting a salary into a signing bonus, which then gets prorated, which then all hits at once when he’s traded. We don’t want to restructure him because we can get out of paying him the salary

Someone please sign Alex Singleton, I'm begging you.

As long as he’s cheap, he seems like a good fit

Miami Dolphins and RB Chase Edmonds reached agreement on a two-year, $12.6 million deal that includes $6.1 million guaranteed, per his agent

. The former Cardinals’ running back is headed to Miami.
