So, we all mostly know the 2022 LB class. Taking Lloyd and Dean out of the mix since I don't want to use a 1st round pick on either of them...who is the consensus top LB after them? I want the Birds to have a Luke Kuechly/Bobby Wagner type so bad. The leader of the defense kind of guy. I am torn between Chenal and Muma in R2 myself but curious who's the guy everyone else wants.

At the moment over the cap has the saints at 6.6 million over. I’m guessing they are kicking the can down the road on a lot of these restructures

Chenal will be a better blitzer and he’s good against the run, but he couldn’t cover olsilverpubes off the line.   So I’d take Muma. 

If Watson doesn’t want to come here you have to wonder how Lurie feels having two superstar QB’s straight up not even sniff you in the span of one month. Especially with Howie being on a lame duck contract year.

But, since we know Howie isn't going anywhere any time soon, and if that's the only thing that matters, what's the point of posting here about anything else?  Just window dressing.  I get that Howie is public enemy number 1... he's that for me too, but since he's not going anywhere, the other issues are all that are left on the table to look at and discuss.

Optimizing a roster for Hurts is the dumbest possible thing we can do. We should strive to build an elite passing offense and find a QB that can pull it off because that's the only way to compete for a SB.

Eagles don’t want their name announced. Panthers and Saints don’t care. He hasn’t even sat down with those two teams yet and it was said he wanted to talk to all interested teams before making a choice. I doubt he is saying no to Philly without even talking to them first.

"Lots" seems a excessive. Looks like they can post June 1 and restructure their way to decent cap space, but it's still gonna be tight and that's with kicking a bunch of money down the road.

No reprieve from me.  That playoff appearance was a mirage.   The 2021 draft... meh.   We'll see what it looks like after 3 years, when most drafts should be evaluated.  Early returns are encouraging, but the injury risk to Dickerson, for example, isn't about 1 year.  It's about whether or not he can sustain it.

Any thoughts on Troy Anderson (Montana St) in the late 2nd/early 3rd round?
