Surprised by the lack of any Eagles news 40 minutes into the tampering period.  Figured they'd be shot out of a cannon with something. 

 

Maybe they are still holding out hope that Watson would consider them and are holding off on any moves until they know definitively.

Oh yeah. The bigger the contract, the more you can screw with it.

Howie trades for Watson, rips up his old deal, gives him a new one putting only 15m$ on this year’s cap, we’re out of Minshew and Hurts’s cap hits, and it’s game on.

You're right, forgot Gilmore was a FA. So Horn and CJ Henderson. I'd expect them to be in the mix for a CB like Gardner at 6 if they land Watson.

There’s always room. The cap is like a bath tub. When it fills up, you wake the water around until you’ve got some room on one end and then worry about the other end overflowing later

To lose Gilmore, Donte Jackson and Bouye...I can't imagine Horn is a trade piece. Leaves them with next to nothing in the secondary.
