I don’t see us going after a QB in the first round.

What you talkin about willis? It’d be hilarious if someone beat them to the punch on willis lol.

The first QB off the board will depend on where Watson goes.  If CAR doesn't land him they are very likely to take Pickett at #6 as there is a relationship there between Tepper and Pitt.  If SEA doesn't land Watson they are a candidate to take Willis at #9.  Hopefully WAS takes Corral at #11 to backfill Wentz.

Is that moreso Justin Reid or Marcus Williams money?

I could actually see seattle trying to move up to get willis if they feel like a team is gonna try to leap frog them

Aaron Wilson article from yesterday:

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/sources-saints-emerging-as-extremely-serious-contender-in-deshaun-watson-trade-market-no-trade-clause-gives-him-a-lot-of-leverage/

"Meanwhile, sources said, the Cleveland Browns, and Philadelphia Eagles are all actively monitoring the Watson situation. Each of those teams has a starting quarterback under contract — Baker Mayfield (Browns), and Jalen Hurts (Eagles) — and are regarded as unlikely to fully commit to a Watson trade until they make a decision on whether they’re sticking with their current option under center.”

I that that was a solid target for us but plenty more left at safety.

Yes.....they have "moved on".

While I agree, not completely ruling it out until he is traded elsewhere

I saw Marcus Williams projected at $16M per year.

Need to get Reid or Williams or this is off to a very poor start.

Think that's a one way street in terms of interest

Definitely not Marcus Williams

I think that hurts us as I thought Reid was supposed to be in line for less than that.  Williams i was expecting more

Guess I shouldn't be too surprise the Giants are in the QB market.

More like Daboll was interested in a competition between him and Jones.

Watson for Hurts, Dillard, and #19

Eagles are in on Watson, unless they aren't.

I tend to believe the same thing. However his options are dwindling. He has seattle, maybe cleveland, Carolina and New Orleans. I’d argue seattle is the worst of those 4. I also think just from an offense talent perspective only the browns are better than the eagles at the moment as they have a very good oline, cooper, hunt and chubb. Carolina has one of the worst olines in the league (apparently trying to trade cmc and Anderson), New Orleans good oline and kamara (who knows with Thomas) and seattle has WRs and that’s about it

Slay has been pushing for Diggs. Glad we dodged that bullet.

Reid would be a good get
