I don't know if the Eagles had interest or made an offer, but, hypothetically speaking, if they were interested and the money was close, what does it say about the Eagles, and more specifically Jalen Hurts that a guy would take a 1 year prove it deal to go play with Jared Goff and the Lions over the Eagles and Hurts. As you know, I'm neither a fan of Hurts nor Howie, but this is nothing more than an attempt to fulfill your narrative. The hypothetical failure to sign a guy to a hypothetical contract based on hypothetical interest is an indictment of Hurts and/or the Eagles...

The panthers not just going to need a entire oline but another DE (burns is a huge loss), safety and corner as Gilmore is a FA and expected to leave. He’s basically going to be back to where he was with the Texans. Bad oline, one good WR, injury prone RB and a defense that had pieces but now has less and with less draft capital. But a better owner. Although can’t say front office or coach cause rhule could be out at the end of the year

But I get the notion that they need a serviceable CB opposite Slay, without relying on the basket of mediocrity that they added to the roster last season.

Why would he ever want to have a prove it year on a run first team with a running QB who was one of the worst deep ball passers last year? He would just play the Quez Watkins role of separating deep while Hurts is scrambling for 5 yards.

March 15, 20223 yr 1 minute ago, EaglePhan1986 said: That’s just dumb. I don’t care for Hurts at all but the Lions have Goff… Lol ok. It's not just the QB. This is a run first offense that already has Smith and Goedert who get all the targets. Then they are going to force some to Reagor. Goff sucks too, but he will be the clear #2 option on a team that will be losing all the time and will have to throw a lot.
