Exactly...nothing.

Any Fing rookie to develop. Do you not pay attention to what people type? Greg Ward= waste of space.

So the good coach, good defense, good OL is a bunch of garbage, eh?

It's about being close to home, methinks.

The issue I have with this Greg Ward contract is he's a guy that could have been signed in August, like Howard last year.  This isn't a guy that should be brought back on Day 2 of free agency.  He catches the ball -- for a less YPC than most RBs.  He returns punts basically nowhere and lets a lot of them bounce around near his goal line.

He should be a camp body, not a signing in the first phase of free agency.

It's sad but Ward is the 4th best receiving option on this team at the moment

Walker re-signed with Detroit, or is there another one I forgot about?

I'm thinking of Tracy Walker. Must have missed it.

Yep, take a swing at Jack. Way better value than what's left at S.

Really the only thing I can think of at this point.  Although the Browns are the one outlier there so far.

And are you so blinded by dumb rage that you don't realize he's no lock to make the roster out of camp? It's not like they're taking on huge amounts of dead cap if a rookie beats him out. You can safely assume that in camp the WR corps will have at least one R1-4 WR, Devonta, Quez, Reagor (barf), another vet, Greg Ward, and a bunch of UDFA's, former PS guys, and camp tryouts. They'll pick their best 5-6 from there. Ward is no lock to make the team just because they brought him back for the year.

And who is to say they don't still do that and if they outplay Ward, he hits the street. Acting like they locked him up for 5 years with big dead money cap hits. C'mon man.

No you c'mon man! The Lions took my guy. 😢 Just let me be upset and take it out on Ward. Guy can’t play wr or qb. Maybe he can switch to rb...oh wait we already have one trying to play qb

Still no QB....damn you, Howie

Greg Ward is useless. Would rather give a younger guy a shot at STs/the 5th WR spot.

I agree.  Let's see if he's on the roster in September.

He's an RFA, not unrestricted.

He's a backup slot WR and special teams guy...and fairly good in that role. This isn't the Jaguars. We were trying to get Calvin Ridley as of two weeks ago, there's still going to be other additions. Stop worrying about the ST guys.

Chark hurt me too...just not as deeply. Look at my sig...which I realize needs more updates.

Jimmy G is still looking at you

I think people overrate "connections”

Dave Caldwell may have liked certain players years ago but it doesn’t mean Howie likes them in 2022

Ok buddy great point. I’ll get Howie on the line for ya. "Oh hey Howie alphagrand says could have waited until August to sign ward… yeah… oh man I know… it’s gonna make such a huge difference in the outcome of this season…”

It would be nice to show some improvement at LB or S.

How much money did they give him?  Whatever the amount is should be budgeted for free agent "talent" -- not JAGs

Yup.  He's a guy you tell that you will be in touch after the draft.  If he can sign elsewhere... best of luck.  No need to sign him now.
