Their starters aren’t great either. Wheeler is good. Nola is up and down. Eflin is hurt all the time Suarez showed promise. And who knows who the 5th starter is

I can get it up to 70 for an inning. So i can give them about as much as velasquez did at times.

I heard Joe Blanton is looking for a comeback opportunity.

Yes, those 90 man slots are so precious. I mean you need bodies to field 4 squad for practice and 3 for pre-season games.

Signing Ward isn't the problem, not finding someone to beat him out in camp is the problem.

Why don't you ask the guys that don't get a chance, while people like ward take up that spot how precious they are?

Everyone knows what Ward is, let's look somewhere else.

I'd argue they won the SB because their DC made a really good HT adjustment and their DL kept pressuring Burrow and Cincy had no answer for it and that Cooper Kupp channeled the spirit and abilities of Lance Alworth and Steve Largent combined.

Yeah I never said they won because of their safety, slappy. You made my point. All they needed in a safety was someone to do their job, not necessarily be great

@Outlaw let's just say there are no injuries and all the wr's go into the draft healthy... I have it like this

Jameson Williams

Burk/ London

Metchie

Wilson

@Jenkins27 knows how much I dislike OSU 🖕

Don't like either of London or Burks (FFS, the draft is still a month off and we already have TATErs spelling his name wrong).  London is a slightly better JJAW who is known for pushing off too much.  Most definitely not worth a 1st Round pick.  Burks played 75% of his snaps in the slot at Arkansas so not sold on his ability to be the outside X WR we need at the NFL level.  Also not worth a 1st Round pick with all that D talent that will be on the board.  They aren't dynamic enough.

Sure, when you have star or near star quality talent at other positions then you can settle for solid at another.  Still, should a dynamic player at his position be available then you should try to acquire such a player within reason.  We lack the talent at other positions so signing a player like Williams would have a bigger positive impact on our team than one with better overall D personnel.  It varies from team to team.

Look at the best teams… where are their best players??

QB, WR, DL, OL

Just as an FYI, I can pepper strikes all day long... but only around 50 mph.   I'm like Jamie Moyer, but right handed and without movement.

I can throw submarine style for about 65 with decent accuracy…good for maybe 30 of them before my elbow wants to fall off.

I figure I'll only need to throw 27.  They will get themselves out for me.

Of course because they are entire units and not just single positions.  And QB has always been the most important position since the SB Era started.  Years ago you could replace WR with RB when a cowbell RB was a position that could strongly influence games.  The game has changed and WRs flourish now because the rules are slanted in their favour.  But it will continue to change, more subtly, and IMO the need for a rangy ballhawk S who can create TOs will be an important position going forward.

Should be the low risk high reward move the Eagles do at CB.

Yea I’d be all in on that

Sounds like Armstead will return to the Saints if Watson still a traded there.

Also sounds like Will Fuller lands wherever Watson goes.

😂😂  Never stop making these.  This was my avatar for my fantasy team, "Orchids of Asia.”  Pretty sure I got that idea from someone on here.
