I watched the first ep, it's terrible like I expected it would be

Red One is already on Prime for free. It cost $250m to make, came out a month ago, only made $166m globally, $87m in the US.

Rented Conclave and thought it was a snooze fest.  Guess papal intrigue isn’t my cup of tea.

Got around to watching this. Was definitely fun. I was really intrigued for the Warhammer episode, which turned out fantastic, but the others were also entertaining.

There were some big names like Keanu and Arnold, but the draw for the series was the animation, which is visually stunning.

And as it happens, Amazon and Games Workshop came to an agreement with Henry Cavill on green lighting the Warhammer live action cinematic universe. They announced it on the same day Secret Level dropped, and stated it will include multiple series. This has so much freaking potential!

Has anyone watched Evolution of the Black Quarterback? It follows Vick around as he talks with Black QB's about the challenges they've faced coming into the league, who their influences are and how they've impacted the game.

It's pretty interesting, especially some of the older guys and what they had to go through. It was filmed around the Chiefs/Eagles SB and that draft with Young, Stroud and Richardson all going as early picks that season.

It was good. A lot of Philly players too.

My son was interested, we watched last night and he liked it. It wasn't a bad movie, but it's trying too hard to be a Santa Secret Service action movie and should have had more comedy. The Rock is just the same in everything and he's boring. It ripped off many other movies, especially some Marvel movies, in particular Ant-Man. Not a bad concept though and the secret service protecting him was at least original. The girl who played Sally Draper in Mad Men plays the main villain a witch, and she's awful. She was way too young for the part and is not interesting at all. It also isn't for kids, there's a lot of cursing. But it's too corny for adults, teens will think it's cringe, so I guess my middle schooler was the target audience.

It was like Christmas in the MCUniverse. I think they actually used the actual Asgard sets for the North Pole. And when you’re trying to cram as many cuss words into a Christmas movie as you can, you’re doing it wrong.

I saw it in theaters with my 11 and 12 year old.  I agree that it’s probably right age.  I’d say anything under 8, probably not okay due to lots of cursing.  In terms of the Santa story, they did a good job of not ruining anything for kids.  I enjoyed it, but I also expected pretty much what it provided, an action movie with The Rock being The Rock.  As you said, he’s the same character.

The Beast Games is on Prime.  I really enjoyed it.  It’s a quasi game show run by Mr Beast.  It starts with 1000 contestants where the last one around will win $5,000,000.  The first two episodes are out, with a new one each Thursday.  He gives away a bunch of money along the way.

Watching In the Land of Saints and Sinners on Prime (after the Ravens stomped the Steelers).

Liam Neeson playing a typical Liam Neeson but in Ireland with his accent. Set in 1974.

This guy shows up, he looked familiar but I couldn't place it. Went to imdb.

Evidently I have too much time on my hands because I watched a documentary about Tom Green. Not Green Tom, Tom Green, and I was never really a fan. He was occasionally funny but usually just stupid and trying too hard. Anyway, the documentary was surprisingly engaging and well done. I’d forgotten how funny some of the funny things were, and I was a bit surprised by how much bad press and insults bothered him. I also didn’t know that he was the pioneer in what became podcasts and was Joe Rogans inspiration for his show. The part about his cancer changing him, and how badly he wished he could get the pre-cancer him back was about as real as it gets. If you like docs and were the target audience for his original show then give this one a watch.

I finished S3 of Invincible last night.  If you haven't watched it, would recommend it and one cameo is kind of like, oh, I forgot you could do that. But it is very gory.  I look forward to S4 and where they go with it next

The Better Sister was good. They made Jessica Biel look kinda rough throughout thought, like overstressed. Still, good.

No boobs from her of Elizabeth Banks. But good show.
