I just assumed that she would hold that back to prolong her career since it's her best feature, not that she isn't a decent actress but those cans are special.

Nah, she freed the nipple early and often and is now complaining that people think that's all she has to offer, which is true.

Both "When Evil Lurks” and "the First Omen” were great.  "When Evil Lurks” is very high on my list.  That movie was f’d up.  Also, they’re already making a remake of "Speak no Evil,” which obviously did well on Shudder and still makes me angrier that any movie ever made. It was great, but if you haven’t seen it, it will piss you off beyond belief.

Good to hear about "Immaculate.”  I may rent that tonight.

I dug Speak No Evil and that ending was brutal.  I'm sure that ending was the selling point for the remake.  Of course, it won't have the same impact.  It was such a WTF moment on first viewing.

Also saw another one recently called "the Coffee Table.”  I follow 4 threads on Reddit and they are Horror Movies, Found footage movies, scary movies, and disturbing movies. Disturbing movies suggested the coffee table multiple times.  One person commented that it was more difficult to watch than "a Serbian Film,” so I immediately watched it. It was pretty painful to get through, but not in a gory disgusting type of way.

I liked it, but it’s definitely an acquired taste. I can’t give anything away, but I don’t feel great about myself after watching it.  I’ll probably buy the blu ray soon.

I just saw one called "the Golden Glove,” a true story about a German serial killer in the 70s. I think we all know I have a screw or 2 loose, but this was one of the most vial and disgusting movies I’ve ever seen. Very tough to get through. Everyone in the movie was ugly, filthy, sweaty, and they were all horrible people. Strongly recommend!

Just watched this one. Thank you for telling me about this. I found this movie quite hilarious about how he just went about his business. This had to be exaggerated I’m sure but I still had a good time, not disturbing at all like other reviews i’ve read it’s just ugly and depressing. I enjoyed it

Just finished this one. I went into this movie knowing absolutely nothing about it and after watching it I didn’t hate it. I was expecting a lot considering the hype it got but was left a bit underwhelmed and parts were too predictable at times so that’s my own fault as to why I didn’t care for it as much as I would have liked to. This movie gave me tales from the crypt/the twilight zone vibes after finishing it. It seems pretty short considering its central focus on the plot. So overall it was ok but not one of my favorites

I’m rewatching Eden Lake right now. My God this movie is messed up. It is brutally tough to get through but it’s a solid horror film from start to finish.

One of my go to classics to watch. The tire scene and box cutter scenes alone make it a great watch

Wife and daughters were away last night, and after the Phillies went down 3-0 one minute into the game, I fell into a Koji Shiraishi rabbit hole.  I didn’t realize he did a lot of these found footage movies, but if you can handle the subtitles, he is really creative and tells fantastic stories.

-Noroi: The Curse (phenomenal - one of my favorite found footage).

-Occult (phenomenal - only saw recently and it was really well done. Only on YouTube streaming).

-Cult (really good - saw last night for the first time. Cool story. Lame demons. Streaming on Tubi).

-A Record of Sweet Murder (fantastic - very disturbing but again he manages to tell this story that captures an audience).

I thought the list was solid - some of the kills were more iconic than gruesome, but I thought they did a great job overall.  As I was reading down over it a few popped into my head that I thought needed to be on there and they all were.

I think I'm currently in search of the world's most offensive/disgusting movie, and I found a few contenders these last couple days.  All have very delightful, wholesome plots if anyone wants a few movie night ideas for the family.

1) Thanatomorphos - A woman is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend and her body begins to decay like a corpse.   Yep - that's the plot.

Spoiler

It's supposed to be some metaphor for the mental health breakdown of a woman that is showed in physical form.  The woman is naked the entire movie.  However, once her body begins to decay, it gets worse and worse.  The body horror in this movie makes the Fly look like fun for the whole family.  I do NOT recommend, unless you're a sicko.

2) Moebius - A wife is so outraged by her husband's infidelity, she takes revenge by cutting off their teenage son's phenus.  Seems like the most logical course of action.

Spoiler

This one even weirded me out.  There's body horror, incest, cannibalism, sexual content that would make anyone uncomfortable, and multiple instances of castration (luckily, they do not actually show any of these castrations).  Also, there is no dialogue the entire movie.  🤣

3) Dumplings - I saved the best for last.  This was apparently a book, and it was also a short in the anthology "Three Extremes," which is fantastic.  I didn't realize they made an entire movie out of it, because the short was so popular.  This bro-ad serves dumplings to her customers to deter the aging process, similar to the fountain of youth.  But what's the main ingredient inside these delicious, dough-covered delights?  Fetuses!  That's right!  Anyone get a little extra crunch when they bite down?  That's not tobiko!  That's just a 5-6 month old fetus that probably has arms and legs!

Trying to help with your important research. Have you ever watched "Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood"? That's definitely on my list of most disturbing movies I've ever seen. The plot doesn't even matter, the whole thing is about a guy dismembering a woman for about 50 minutes.

I guess any movie in the Guinea Pig series must be equally horrible.

I actually read the plot about the mom cutting off her sons peen and it sounds hilariously like that South Park episode Mrs. Garrison gets his peen cut off and tries to get it back
