What are we trading him for, a bag of chips, a bum's soiled underwear, or a solid punch in the face?

Trade him for a new umbrella for JJ-AWFUL to rest while learning to be a blocking TE.

The reality is, we may not find a trade partner at this time. We brought in Pascal , traded for Brown and tendered Ward. Every team knows he is viewed as a disappointment. If we don't move him in a trade, he may just end up released. So teams might as well wait and see.

Since he is still on the team and not necessarily needed at WR, perhaps he can focus on punt returns. Since most of our starters sit out preseason, he could get a lot of WR work in those games and if he makes enough plays, maybe some team may be willing to offer something. That would probably be the only scenario where another team will "invest" in his potential.

Unfortunately it takes his cap hit from 3.6 million to 7.8 million releasing him prior to June 1st.

His position for now will be: after Brown & Smith catch passes in drills, they'll hand the ball to Reagor to return to the QBs.

Hopefully he doesn't fumble.

People only pay attention to that type of hissy fit if you're good, Reagor.

Oh good God no, makes Reno Mahe look like Brian Mitchell.

I think teams probably know there's a good chance he gets cut. Although at this point actually he may just make the roster due to a numbers game. At this point they have Brown, Smith, Watkins and Ward who you'd imagine are locks. So then I guess Reagor would battle it out with Hightower and whoever else is one of those depth guys?

I wouldn't have a problem with that if he was actually any good returning. Ok, he hit two or three but on average.

WTF is with some of these players thinking they are entitled to being handed a spot without any competition?  I guess he doesn't realize that if he wasn't such a huge disappointment in his first 2 years we would not have had to swing that trade for Brown.  Reagor cost us TWO 1st round picks (and a 3rd).

C'mon Howie, just trade him for a 2032 29th round pick already!

Actually, they know he won't get cut.

His cap hit is 3.6 million.  If he is cut prior to June 1st, his cap hit becomes 7.8 million.  If he is cut post June 1st, his cap hit becomes 6 million.

you forgot Pascal plus there is probably a decent chance they keep 3 te’s this year or maybe an extra oline if they don’t work out a trade for someone.

would love to trade dillard or issac for another pick or two here in the draft still some really good talent on the board at positions of need

It doesn't make a lot of sense to just cut him right now.  And his trade value is almost nil.  Plus they take a hit with his contract.

The eagles have 9 WRs on the roster right now with JAWW being moved to TE. And they probably bring in 1-2 more.  Sirianni publicly supported Reagor late last year and maybe that indicates that Sirianni thinks there's still something there.....Morehead has supported him too.

It make more sense to let him go to camp and fight for a spot.  If he withers under competition, then cut him loose.  if he fights for a spot, takes advantage of opportunities and truly earns a roster spot, then maybe they get something out of him in a reduced role.

wouldn't be surprised if he goes to GB for a (very) low pick..everyone was shocked that GB didn't draft a WR high....or he can go to Tampa, play with Brady and become a Pro Bowler

I actually felt like he was improving last year on punt returns. Then the playoff game happened. It was very windy and maybe that played a part. But it's all people really remember about his returns last year. Our return team blocking on special teams was not that good so it was difficult to evaluate the returners. In the second half of the season (until the aforementioned playoff game) it seemed to me that Reagor was making better decisions and taking what was there rather than trying to outrun people to the sideline.

As of right now, we haven't really added anybody with a return specialist pedigree. Maybe they'll look at Devon Allen there --- we'll have to wait and see. So if nothing changes,  Reagor and Ward are battling it out for the role. It makes sense for people to doubt Reagor at this point. Without a trade partner and a looming cap hit, it's still more likely that Reagor makes this team than Allen.
