Right but the problem is that republican legislatures and now courts have been passing laws and/or making rulings that by their nature makes IVF illegal. This is a problem. It is ANTI-Life legislation. A human embryo is a human embryo. It is not a human person that should be given the same legal rights as a living breathing person. Because when you do that, then that ends up making IVF illegal. The nature of IVF involves processes that would be illegal if you did those same things to a human person.

Based on what I see your beliefs are, only if the child was conceived in a legit marriage. What I need to be clear about is that I do absolutely respect your belief that life begins at conception. I carried 2 children and yes, they were alive inside my body. They wouldn't be able to be alive without me, so this is where the huge gray area appears. IMO, this is one of the reasons that our forefathers wrote and signed for a separation of Church and State. The State is crossing the line, and the religious zealots are as well. Now we are talking about embryo's being "alive" It's so far out of the realm of making any sense to base law onto something like an embryo. There are no great minds anymore, just a bunch of people screaming and yelling without really thinking about it. That is the mess we're in with this.
