So you believe the government should have control over a woman's body in specific situations

No, he believes the government should have control over a woman's body in most situations.  Though he does have some minor exceptions.

That's your counter to wanting government control over a woman's body in your specific scenarios

More than a majority.  You want the government to control a woman's decisions in a wide majority of pregnancies.  Unfortunately for you, women don't want the government making their decisions for them.  I don't understand why though.  Don't they understand that the government knows best?

How is the government controlling their bodies?  The government didn't cause the pregnancy, did they?

The government should protect human life and that's what a pregnancy is.  If that means women can't end a life they created of their own volition tough.

Are you OK with contraception being available?

Most pregnancies don't end in abortion, so you're wrong.

And "the government" didnt impregnate these women, did they?

Our society creates laws to hold people accountable for their actions and protect human life.  Unfortunately for you, pregnancies are human life.

Yes

The vast majority of women controlled their bodies when they got pregnant and it had nothing to do with the government.

Unfortunately for you, pregnancies take place in a woman's body.  And women don't want some bureaucrat or talk show host that won a popularity contest to make decisions about what happens to their body.  Sucks that it's not more popular.

The number of abortions has risen in the USA since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

This the right wing America. F women, and kids.

F them hard.

I'm old enough to remember when Democrats were known as the Party of Unintended Consequences

The US was one of just 6 countries that allowed abortion on demand, where you could terminate a pregnancy at any point, before Roe v. Wade was overturned.

In much of Western Europe, including Ireland and Germany, abortion procedures are banned in the majority of cases after 12 weeks. And Italy bans abortions after 90 days.

Pete Hegseth and Will Cain discussed in 2022 how US law resembles what you see in communist North Korea and China. And, still, this is not radical enough for the Democrat party.

Really? Or is he counting on the fact that the average American has no Fing idea.

Joe Biden accused the United States of being an "outlier” in the international community following the Supreme Court’s decision in 2022 overturning Roe v. Wade.

Hey pro-lifers, time to put your money where your mouth is - seems there are some kids in Texas for you to adopt and raise, because after all, you care about the kids.

"I think the six week is too short, there has to be more time," former President Trump says how he'll vote on an abortion rights amendment in Florida.
