Again, he couldnt stay healthy is a tripod but you wanted to see him, and assume he would do great things as the lone ranger in a big rushing game. Buck probably gets hurt just thinking of getting that much.

Buck has become the fish, that your uncle caught 40 years ago. Every time his name gets brought up he gets bigger, faster, and the what if's get higher and higher.

Where are you getting this from?  I merely said I thought he was underrated, not some mythical tarpon that was caught on a mickey mouse rod.

Eagles - Jerome McDougle, FredEx, Correll Buckhalter, Trevor Laws... and K'von Wallace is slowly working his way into contention

Correll Buckhalter???

How was he over hyped?

The dude missed every other year due to Injury, and when he wasn't hurt he played pretty well for a guy Reid only gave the ball to 3 times a game.

Had he stayed healthy he and Westbrook would have made a helluva a tandem, he was a good RB.

you just said you would of loved to see him as a solo running back in a run heavy game. I'm assuming you think he'd be great at it. (sorry to assume)

This is part of the over rated, hype I'm talking about.

Had he stayed healthy he absolutely could have been a lead back

When he was healthy he had all the tools to be a lead back.

He was big fast athletic could block could catch the ball, the only thing ever stopping him from being a bigger part of the offense was the injuries.

You can say he was just an average back not a good one does that equal over hyped, IMHO no?

Also who was overhyoing FredX?

There was some initial excitement after he was a first round pick but I think it was clear to everyone with a set of eyes including the coaches that he wasn't very good. I don't remember much hype for him outside his rookie year other than from him, I'll give you that FredX over hyped himself.

Can we get a Mt. Rushmore for the most overhyped picks/players? I'll start:

Cornelius Ingram

I mean nasty Nate has an award named after him for this. Lol.

I’d go with Sidney jones when he was drafted and what people thought he could be (myself included). I don’t think he ever recovered mentally to what he was prior to that injury.

Buck looked good in that rams nfc title game. only got 6 Carrie’s for 50 yards before the injury. It’s a shame that he had the injuries he did because he would’ve been a good change of pace back with westbrook if he stayed healthier. Hats off to him for staying in the league as long as he did. He missed/didn’t play in the 2002, 2004 and 2005 seasons yet still came back playing through the 2010 season.

Impressive but feels painful and expensive

Yup, he was a rookie in that game and he was playing well until going out with an ankle Injury, which would be the beginning of a long list of season ending injuries for him.

Woulda coulda shoulda...☹️

Buck stays healthy against the Rams, I think they can win that game.

Bust Mount Rushmore?  Marcus Smith, Jaquan Jarrett, JJAW and Danny Watkins.

I can't disagree with anyone on there but just feels like Reagor really needs a spot.

Non-QB of course

I’d say for anyone playing against me take Tyler Lockett. That dude routinely kills me in fantasy every time i play him. Like fantasy kryptonite

Agreed, seems like the obvious answer.  But I did want to see Bacarty and RTK pick someone terrible so we can all make fun of them.

We’ve already completely replaced Reagor with multiple high-investment players not 2 years after drafting him 21st overall.

That way trumps the second round pick JJAW, who could very well end up with a longer Eagles tenure

Priest Holmes

Between 2001-2003 he averaged 2300 yards and 21 TDs a year

And then in 2004 in 8 games before injury he had 1100 yards and 15 TDs. Just insanity

All Time - Probably Faulk, especially if its a PPR.

Going into 2022, non qb, Ekeler or Kupp

If only using active players, Najee Harris is a pretty good bet, just due to the volume.

I loved watching Priest Holmes.  He just glided around.

He's a terrific receiver too.

He was my other immediate thought, his window was just too short.
