So according to Kempski Eagles don’t practice more than two days in a row at any  point during TC.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

I mean I don't think it's top 5.  He's the guy that said he thought he could throw a TD pass in the NFL.

Did he really? Oh man.  I knew the homerun talk but throwing a TD pass in the NFL? Sheesh.

Why do I imagine him throwing like this or worse?

He also said he could win the Kentucky Derby if he had the best horse.

He also said he never rode a horse.

We are all just numb to him at this point. And honestly, this probably isn’t the most ridiculous thing he’s said

Probably not even top 10

And the t-shirts begin.  At what point does Sirianni drop the bro/players best friend thing?  I never understood it but I know there are people who eat this crap up.

So what is on the betting agenda today...........................

I bet @Bacarty2 makes an @ss of himself before lunchtime.

That's fine.  I can only read so many reports and listen to so many podcasts while reading the inane takes on here anyways.

Good.

My QB take of the day.

Jalen Hurts will score at least 42 combined TD’s this year.

If we're betting I take worse, name the terms!

I didn't even remember that but I guess he goes about 5'1 and 90 lbs then.

Red letter day for him yesterday.  Hoping and celebrating a death of another posters dog (who is perfectly fine BTW) in addition to welching on a bet and then lying about it.  Hard to compete with that.

I think he licks his wounds today and keeps a low profile. He'll be back soon enough tho.

It's just following sports-science. Most teams, across high-intensity sports, don't practice multiple days in a row. That leads to more fatigue, which makes soft-tissue injuries more likely.

Don't forget the multiple times on after 5 PM after he bet he would not be...............

It’s not. It’s a step past sports-science when you do considerably less than the league. They had practice 3 days in a row last year and were fine. They also practice 3 days a week during the season, and are fine. The practices are like only an hour and low intensity anyway. I’m sure the vets will get their days off so they might practice 2 times a week at best.

Color coded coaching.  So we have Howie holding his hand at PC’s and now this?   Yeah, not a puppet.

They can’t even wear pads or do certain things on the first day and this will be the "intense” day. They must have arm wrestling on the menu for today.

Yeah doesn't seem like a lot of practices overall.  Especially when these practices only run about a hour each and they don't play starters much at all in preseason.

(Scheduled practices so far: 7/27, 7/29-30, 8/1-2, 8/4, 8/6-7, 8/9-10)

QB1! What a shirt start to camp! Coach has bought in! Day couldn't have started any better. I think Hurts goes undefeated today in solo drills with WRs too.

No one is triggered, it is silly.  This is a professional football team, not pop warner.

If the GM keeps having to back the QB, and the coach is wearing gear with his picture, it legitimizes the doubts about him being the future.

Also the bolded is not true. The whole point of mentioning it was this is the first time the Eagles have done it and the first they ever seen an NFL team take that soft of an approach.

There is no team that practices less in the entire league than the Rams. They won the SB last year. The data supports this approach. If you follow other teams, most of them are practicing less. Notable exceptions include the Lions...who were top 5 in injury rate last year.
