Has anyone here ever had any back issues? Whether it be a herniated/bulging disc or something else?

If you have something serious, you typically know, right?

A couple nights ago I was watching TV before bed, and a spider fell from the ceiling on to me and it startled the hell out of me, and I kinda did a violent jolt in bed. I didn't feel anything at all at the time. I took a shower, moved around after that... felt absolutely nothing.

The next day though in the mid afternoon I started to have  upper back soreness that radiates to my rib cage. I figure though if I did something to my back, I'd have felt it when I jolted in bed and not like 12 hours later randomly.

Not trying to scare you, and I am sure that it is not the case, but you always want to get checked out.

My buddy, an avid hunter, was complaining about a sore back after a weekend in the tree stand hunting deer.  Thought is was no big deal, but the pain lingered for a couple of weeks in his lower back, and got worse.  He finally went and got checked out and found out he had testicular cancer.

Like I said, I doubt that is the case for you, but you can never be to careful.

Could be a number of things. Do you have a desk job where you’re slouched at a computer all day? Your muscles are probably super tight which affects your nerves.

- try foam rolling. If there’s a trigger point use a tennis ball

- avoid sitting slouched over for long periods of time

- do some light stretches if possible

Getting old sucks. Some big doof stepped on my foot playing soccer last week which of course hurt initially then it went away. But the next day I was limping around.

Don't have a desk job, but I do a lot of computer work. Also, I was doing some house maintenance last week that required a lot of prolonged bending and pressure on my back and I had to stop because I had that feeling you get in your back where it starts to burn and radiate and you know you're about a minute away from throwing your back out.

How does this work for boosting for streaming?  I'm not a fan of repeaters for something I want constant.  I'd almost suggest trying to run a hard wire if you can.  That's really not that far.  I'm assuming this is gonna be a man cave?

10 feet isn't far. What kind of wifi signal do you get standing where the garage will be? What materials will be between your current wifi access point and the interior of your new garage. Wifi signals do better thru glass or vinyl siding than they do through brick/aluminum siding/ridgid insulation insulation with metallic vapor barrier etc. You can also get directional wifi antennas which will carry further than omni directional antennas. I'm partial toward cat 6 direct burial but that may be overkill in your case.

This.  Such a soft team.  These guys will feel like they are playing a different sport once games start

@Sack that QB should at least have his testicles examined.

And rest.

Herniated discs in the lumbar spine usually cause shooting pain down the leg with or without weakness.  Herniated discs in the thoracic spine are quite rare, but would cause radiating pain around the chest wall.  You most likely have a painful muscle strain.  If there’s no weakness and just soreness of the back and chest wall, it’s most likely muscular.  If it’s not getting better, muscle relaxants (flexeril, Valium, or Robaxin…which would be the best in this case) should be helpful…and would be preferable to opioids. Your pcp should provide them for you.

Would it be impolite to point out that the team does not appear to be following the lead of QB1 who supposedly has the superior NFL work ethic.

like @EaglePhan1986 said earlier, try to find a trigger point. lay on your stomach and have your wife press around in the vicinity of the soreness until she hits an extremely sore place. she may feel a knot or tight muscle strand, usually located on either side near the spine. if so, let her mash on it and try to work the tightness out with the heel of her hand (or even her elbow). it will hurt like HELL and need more than one treatment probably. i got a lacrosse ball at Academy for my scapula knots. a Thera Gun will work too. good luck.

You’d think with all the leadership that Hurts and Sirianni bring to the table, that he’d would have stopped this by now.

All Sirianni has to do is wear a Reagor t-shirt to practice and that will turn it around for him.

Was it RTK?

Reagor is on punt returns because the coaches like watching him get tackled hard.

But it's not frequent enough because our D can't make a stop.

I was making a joke, that RTK is a spider and came down from the ceiling to scare him.

The Watson thing could get very fruity. Owners conduct is rarely punished, so some in the NFLPA will look at that and think, you can't suspend him for a season. Equally, punishing Watson at the same level as Roethlisberger will have credibility issues to external groups.  The NFL have 3 days to appeal....

Heard it last year. Only difference I saw to the year before that for once the team wasn‘t plagued by injuries..

Even if I had to chose between starting tough and strong or having a team that‘s healthy I‘d pick healthy every time.
