I think the article was great. I agree about that. 

He appears to be moving really well on the knee. Only time will tell how it holds up. 

I feel optimistic about him. I just hope he gets a shot.

You did say that a qb is worthless if they aren’t top 20 by year 3, when referencing Lawrence and Fields.  So if Hurts is in year 3 and doesn’t have that track record yet…

If that article is true, why was he is undrafted? He’ll, even if his knee was shot, you’d think of teams liked him (non-medicals-wise) they would have used a late pick on him.

theres been some reports about his personality or attitude too. maybe between both things.... who knows. Maybe the character was the bigger red flag to teams than the health report.

I am still waiting for the actual prognosis for Strong's knee...for the Eagle's sake...there is just wishful thinking and uniformed opinions to work with at this point. The lack of drafting definitely raises questions.

Idk… if he had 1st round arm talent I’m thinking he would have been selected by round 4. Unless he’s extremely dumb and arrogant. Even then, first round arm talent would get him drafted by round 6, in my meaningless opinion.

Is Mayfield considered a top 20 QB anymore?  Last year QBR of 35.1.

After four seasons, 61.6% completion, NY/A 6.43.

He's damaged goods, but worth gambling on, based on his 2020 season, 62.8%, QBR 65.5, NY/A 6.64. But that was his one good season in four years.

Hurts probably was top20 last year, or at least close depending on what stats you go for..

Honestly, if he is only top20 after this year I’d be disappointed.
