That falls on the HC for calling options and not run plays.  It was piss poor coaching from Sirianni early in but to his credit he made the adjustments he had to make.

Then we agree. We both respect taking the option away from a bad decision maker and forcing him to hand off. Glad we got there.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

We (the EMB) currently sit at just over 940,000 posts. We're on pace for about 40,000 posts for the month of May. So it's looking like we'll break 1,000,000 posts within the first couple of weeks of J

If my math is correct, @LeanMeanGM is the proud owner of post 1,000,000 with the following.  @VaBeach_Eagle, can you confirm that the post below is number 1 million.

I just did a quick look and here's how I figured it (everyone that wants to see if I'm right can double check).

I opened two screens. One on the main board page, scrolled to the bottom showing total posts. One showing the latest activity. I refreshed both so they were both up to date with each other.

Total post count at that time was 1,000,086. The most current post at that same time was 1,016,127. So, taking 86 posts away from that number, I came up with post number 1,016,041. Now, finding out which post that was (if I'm correct), will take further investigation.

How did you figure it? If anyone else wants to calculate, let me know what you came up with and when I get back home later this afternoon, I'll look further into it.

One staggering stat I've noticed. How much confidence did our staff have with Hurts only attempting 432 passes. Thats insanely low in todays NFL. almost laughable

Well if you count his rushing attempts as passing attempts like his yards, he is top 10!!!

Sorry.....couldn't help myself XD

59.9% to 61.1% isnt close? 204yards per game compared to 202 isnt close? 2.2 Interception rate compared to 2.2 interception rate isnt close?

The Bacarty2 classic, flat out make things up while being completely obvious to the fact that it can be looked up.

Sam Darnold had a 3.2 interception rate last season.  Jalen Hurts had a 2.1.

Jalen Hurts produced 261.9 total yards per game. Darnold produced 229.1 total yards per game.

He was discussing quarterbacks

So don't believe anything Sirianni says ever, apparently.

Round up... its 59%, or even better 60%.  :P

Majority of people arent here to talk negatively about the Eagles.

BUT, when someone over hypes, or speaks way too highly of a person I think they get put in thier place so to speak

When you say Hurts is worth a first round pick and then get proven with about  7 QB's better than him, who didnt receive a 1st round pick, it puts you in your place.

Any QB who is top 20 (not off one season) is worth a 1st rd pick. of course, age and contract will impact actual trade value, example, Tannehill at 33 has less value than at 30, even if his performance is the same. If Hurts were to finish around 15th or so (total value, say the average of QBR, FO and PFF ratings), at his age he'd easily garner a 1st rd pick - teams would want to see that he can do it 2 years in a row and show some incremental improvement, i.e., he's not a flash in the pan.

With someone like Wentz, he was worth a 1st and 3rd coming off a bad season (below top 20), then he in effect told the league he was a "coach killer" (if he can't work with Reich . . .) and his value dropped.

Most of the other QBs dropped in value after they fell off, due to injury or other circumstances.

Ryan at 36, coming off a subpar (out of top 20) season with a big contract still garnered a 3rd rd pick.

Bridgewater got a 3rd rd pick coming off a severe injury with questions whether he'd ever regain his arm strength.

Garoppolo garnered a 2nd rd pick based on 2 starts in 3 seasons in NE.

Foles got a 4th rd pick coming off a horrible season in Jax.

When Tannehill was dumped by Miami, he was coming off a horrid season where he looked like damaged goods.

You rarely see a top 20 QB traded in his prime, because few teams have backups they trust to replace them.

QB trades tend to be high priced QBs in their 30s, either b/c the QB forces a trade (Wilson), or a team is rebuilding and figures by the time they're finished, the QB will be at the end of his career (Stafford).

But it's hard to find a trade of a QB in his 20s who is performing at an average or better level on a winning team.

Brees was traded for a 1st b/c there were questions about his arm and SD had Rivers to replace him.

I don't think Howie is going to put his job on the line for Minshew.

Those are his per game numbers when he beats a team with a winning record.

Same as you, but I did it at 1,000,0009 posts.  But who knows if another post or two registered as I went from the main screen to the activity screen.

Would like to see Reagor have an Agholor type season 3. Not sold on Watkins as the #3. Glad there’s competition for that spot.

You’re more sold on Reagor than Watkins?

The whole Flores allegation that he was tampering with Tom Brady while he was still under contract.

Also Sean Payton, apparently.

Where do I say that? I’m saying I’m not sold on Watkins and hope Reagor pushes for the #3 WR spot.

Hated the Reagor pick and hate it even more today. Howie was way too enamored with trying to be the Chiefs
