A one yard gain is preferable to a 10 yard loss and possible fumble. In a game yes,in a 7 on 7 a run by hurts shows a. Few things he was either late on his read or missed it or didn't see it. Dude needs to pull the trigger, running in 7 on 7 is a wasted rep. Doing it 2 times in a row is inexcusable, just throw the ball, if it's incomplete or intercepted at least it's a valuable rep in a passing drill, running is not.

Mind you, I'm sure someone got opened and Hurts missed it/didnt see it, what have you but yikes, back to back plays cant get open on 7-7 Yup if the receivers can't get open that's a problem. I'm going to say it's more on hurts than the receivers. 7on7 favors the offense in a league that already favors offense, that hurts tucks and runs two times in a row is concerning for a pro passing offense.

What many thought was a binary situation has been shown to be a continuum.
August 4, 20223 yr Some reps from a Dallas practice. I thought they ran a lot of plays out of heavy formations, which would be good for us. Also, their oline had some bad moments. Certainly some reasons for concern.

The offense is going against a much better, more athletic defense this August. A lot of speed in coverage, the LBs can get deep, and the starting CBs are top notch, and the depth is much improved. So 7x7 probably has fewer easy targets, especially with Smith on the sidelines. This should help both Hurts and the young WRs, when you go against good talent in practice, it's not as big a jump come game time.

I wont say man, I will use "Male". Now I am not refering to any social construct of gender, just biology. Saying "I identify as" is the same as saying "I pretend to be". I dont care what sexual preferences someone has, I have mine, and it's biological females, you cannot shame me or force me to include biological males who now pretend to be a woman in my sexual preferences, nor do I wish to want to change anyones from what ever they like. Live and let live. However, I believe we do have a huge mental illness issue in this world and we are only helpng to feed it, instead of helping, but thats just my opinion. Your bolded statement is out-of-date. Making sexual determination at the chromosomal level is extremely crude. Modern science has moved beyond chromosones to much more discrete determinations.

True, maybe the defense is just super good, defense is normally ahead of offense at this point but again this is 7on7 were talking about. It's set up to favor the offense. Tom Brady's defense is pretty good yet I can't ever remember hearing about him running in a7 on7 and why would he???, it's a passing drill.😡 Hurts running in a7 on7 whether it's his receivers the defense the play calling is an offensive passing failure and hurts as the trigger man deserves the brunt of that blame as qbs do.

The term "best” is entire subjective and a matter of opinion, so I really don’t care when people say something is better than another. What bothers me is when people say factually or objectively false things about America in relation to other countries. It’s usually, but not always, from very young or naive people who know nothing about the world or its history. You see it a lot with the "stolen land” nonsense, which is about as dumb as it gets, as every piece of land on earth was conquered by one tribe, empire, or government at one point or another. And people are generally too lazy to actually read history, they just parrot talking points from people they’ve chosen to believe(who unfortunately also happen to be not very bright and spread bad information).

The Analogy should be the window guy tells you we sell the best windows, at XXXX amount of price, if you dont like it, we understand, we dont have to do business. But to go a little deeper on your comments, she didnt do anything to fix the problem. She kneel'd during a national anthem and ran her mouth. She then begged the same government that she talked crap on, for help. So it would be like you telling the window guy he sucked. his prices, his craftsmanship was terrible, his prices were outrageous but then you called him and begged for him once the weather got below 50 degrees. Whose she???🤔 Im assuming griner, I said nothing about Griner. Just commenting on your boomer comment that if people don't like USA they're free to leave.

This is very common both ways. Like saying that America is better than 99% of countries. There are about 200 countries in the world, so you're basically saying it's a top 3 country. In football terms, too many people use the word "elite". There are not 200 elite players in the NFL. It's overused.

August 4, 20223 yr This makes no sense. They take every precaution to limit injuries by not practicing as much or as long as they could but love working in intense heat because of the first few games? OK Coach.
August 4, 20223 yr Another portion of Howie's interview on NFL Radio I found interesting was they asked him about the decision to acquire AJ Brown and pay him 4 years/$100M. They mentioned teams like the Chiefs and Packers dealing away premium WR with contract demands, and other teams like the Eagles paying out the top dollars at WR. Howie immediately responded that the QB being on a rookie contract was the main determining factor in that decision -- mentioning the Eagles, Niners and Dolphins all have QBs on their rookie deals. When Hurts comes up for an extension to be paid in 2024 it got me to thinking about what the Eagles cap would look like, and how a Hurts extension would impact that. Pencil Hurts in at $40M+ (he's not signing for less at the current market, never mind a year from now). There are quite a few Eagles players who start to become big cap hits in 2024: Brown $27.7M, Mailata $21M, Reddick $20.2M, Goedert $19.5M, Sweat $18.7M, Lane $13.5M, Maddox $10M. Obviously there will be some restructuring and "can-kicking" that will be done to free up space, and it's 'fortunate' in Hurts' context that there isn't anybody from the 2019 or 2020 draft class that will warrant a big extension going on the books. It does make me wonder what type of decisions would have to come immediately afterward, though, if DeVonta Smith and Landon Dickerson become core players -- and how the diminished cap room could impact things.
