The 2nd question is obvious.  If he goes out of Philly in 2020, out of IND in 2021, and out of WASH in 2022 he will either retire or go into the pool of backup QBs.  I wouldn't expect him or any other starting QB to acknowledge that, though.

To the first question, camp really doesn't matter with him any more than it does with Hurts.  They're both secure for now in their starter roles.

In the broader picture Wentz is a clear upgrade over Heinicke and WASH won 7 games with a backup QB playing pretty much the whole season and their defense being terrible in spite of their talent.  I expect the NFCE to be a 3-team race between the Eagles, WASH, and Turds.  None of the 3 will have more than 11 wins and I expect all of them to have at least 9 wins.

I mean part of the second question is not true if we believe Adam schefter (also believe rapoport had a similar report on WIP about the wentz situation). Eagles wanted him back but he didn’t want to be back in Philadelphia.  Adam schefter from the end of December to the end of January on 975 (weekly Wednesday interview with the morning show) routinely said the Eagles tried to convince him to stay. He didn’t want to be here anymore because of everything that happened. Furthermore both schefter ( pretty sure it was  rapoport as well on nfl network) reported in their head coaching interviews they asked candidates how could they fix Carson Wentz like they wanted to come back with him.

Eventually eagles realized he was never changing his mind about coming back then went into trade mode which is when schefter began discussing him being traded.

The colts definitely didn’t want him anymore and dealt him. The eagles they were willing to get him to stay and he didn’t want to come back so they dealt him. The traded worked out for the Eagles so the narrative has changed to they always wanted to deal him after the season. Which wasn’t the case unless we think schefter (and rapoport) were bogus on their reporting.

You should be banned. Calling someone out to meet with an implicit threat of violence, really? Your diatribe about your kid's immaturity is high irony. Look in the mirror.

Yep. I’m going to call off work tonight and drive two hours to Philly just to meet some dude from the internet and fight him… with his kid there… just so he doesn’t think I’m a wuss…

You’re clearly unstable or you’re attempting to be funny.

Not to mention he displays joy while mocking someone's dying dog that isn't even sick.  I'm sure he's won in his own head.

All correct, but he always takes the high road — at least publicly.  Part of this fan base will not recognize that.

Long story short, he's 7.

He cant sit through a game, a game where I want to sit and enjoy.

Also not cheap for a ticket, food, something stupid he wants for a game he's not paying attention to.

He's gotten pre season flyers and pre season eagles games his entire life(mostly because theyre free, like tonight) and It'll change one day. Just not anytime soon.

My guess tonight, I'll spend more time on the concourse then our seats watching football.

My son has been going to the games with me since was 7/8 years old. We have season tickets so he has gone to a lot. He sat through every game like a champ cheering etc,  He just loves the game. Now he goes to every game with me, wife hasnt been to a game since 2017. I never miss a game, including preseason but its not even close to the same experience. Also the stadium is not as bad as the rumors say.

Fans will mess with other teams fans only a little(As long as they are not Cowboys fans). By the 2nd half most are talking football back and forth. The reason why fans will go after someone harder is only if that away fan starts talking crap or getting nasty. The old Vet days are long gone.

…..meanwhile, in Lot F, near the Xfinity

Oh for sure. He’s never not going to take the high road. He did it when he was here. He did it even when the colts wanted to deal him. And he did it then. It’s not anything new. It’s more outside the norm if a QB doesn’t take the high road tbh.

It might be better then the game tonight. Anyone want to give the scouting report after the fight and do a scorecard?

In recent years Howie has made several trades during camp. Just wondering which players are potentially on the block and what’s their worth? Also what positions do you see us making a trade for?

My meaningless opinion…

Reagor - 4th rounder, perhaps turns into a 3 if he plays well

Hightower - 7th rounder, if someone is desperate for speed

Dillard - 3rd rounder, I can’t see anyone giving up more which is why I think he should be kept

Minshew - 5th rounder, that’s if a team is really desperate but I feel he’s worth more to us then another team is willing to give up.

TJ Edwards - 5th rounder. If Dean looks like he could be the guy this may be worth exploring. There’s oddly some quality depth at LB, a position where you really only need 1 good player.

Jack Driscoll - 4th rounder. Could probably start at T or G for a handful of teams

Sanders - 3rd rounder. Is Gainwell capable of being a 20 touch player? More than likely losing Sanders next offseason.

Milton Williams - I can’t really put a price on him but he seems like a player with a lot of potential with no real position and buried in the depth chart.

I don’t view Milton Williams that way. I expect him to get a ton of snaps this year since the Eagles constantly rotate their defensive linemen. And I further expect him to be the ultimate starter alongside Davis as time goes on. What you view as "no real position” is to me called versatility. Which is a positive rather than a negative.

I would rather keep Driscoll than get a fourth rounder next year. Backups who can actually play at the level of a competent starter can be pretty valuable. Like Vaitai for instance. Though not great, he didn’t suck. I’m not sure the Eagles win 52 if someone like Winston Justice is playing left tackle when Jason Peters goes down.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of their corners is traded for a late pick.

They could probably have gotten something for Herbig if they had kept him, but I think they wanted to do him a solid and let him find a team right away. So I’m not complaining about that. Maybe Opeta could fetch a seventh but no team has ever bothered to claim him the times he was available on waivers.

That's a bit much. Someone called him out and he responded for a meetup

We all know Bacarty’s kid will sit through a full Steelers game no problem

Do we know who is inactive yet?

I see your point on Williams and I agree, mostly. But am just throwing hypotheticals out there. If he can be dealt for a young starter at safety, it would more than likely be looked into.

Right now he’s the number 4 DT/number 5 D-end. Yes, he’ll get snaps and I hope he’s a productive player this season.

I was just naming players and guesstimating their value via draft pick. I’d rather keep Driscoll as well.

Not sure I've heard a reporter ask questions that way

reporter got it wrong , philly wanted him but he forced his way out cause he couldn't follow the legend of BDN

If you had to guesstimate, what % of NFL games do you think are a one score game in the 4th quarter?

And in the final 2 minutes?

How was that for a scouting report?

I already confirmed I’m not showing up.

Wonder if baby momma knows he’s offering to meet up with dudes from the internet with their son there.
