Little homework...

Start paying attention to when they're running their ads and what your doing. i.e. what type of show your watching, type of music, etc etc.

Will do as soon as I'm done this reverse mortgage application

You're going to have to check on what pronouns need to be associated with pillar.

@austinfan said he was the best pass blocking TE in the NFL

Haha that's good stuff. Goedert must really suck as a blocker then if Stoll is the best

I don’t think Hurts is the future but how many NFC QBs would you take over him just this season?

Stafford, Rodgers, Brady, Dak, Kyler

on the fence: Cousins, Baker, Wentz, Winston

I would take Cousins before Kyler.  Of Wentz, Baker and Winston, I think Baker has the most potential upside because he plays better with protection but he's not a player that's going to be much better than Hurts.  I think eventhough he's an unknown to some extent, I would take Trey Lance.

Just for this season alone? I'd take any one of these guys over Hurts. Not even a question.

The gap between Goedert and the rest is significant.  He is a top-5/-10 player.  The backups are truly backups.  It would impact our scheme.

Can't say the same for safety.  The backups aren't that far away from the starters.  Doubtful that the game plan would change.

The drop off between Slay/Bradberry and McPhearson is probably as big as the one between Goedert and Stoll at a far more important position.

Bunch of racist mfs in here....at least @olsilverhair doesn't care about color. He'll blow any d he can get his mouth on

Has anyone actually called JG Wentworth or know someone who has?  For as much as I see their ads, I don't know one person.

Used to deal with them all the time.  We would work with plaintiff attorneys, like @NCiggles, when settling a claim with long term implications (and frequently clueless plaintiffs that left to their own would go out and blow the settlement meant to make them secure into the future) utilizing annuities to insure long term, tax free, financial resources. Firms that buy annuities, including settlement annuities, and life insurance products use actuarial analytics to figure out how to make a profit, a substantial profit.  So they place a current time value that insures them a profit higher than they would make from traditional investments in an equity environment that has given significant profit opportunities the last decade.  In other words, they aren’t offering a good deal. We would deal with sellers complaining later on.  Some states have prohibitions on the practice or at least restrictions.  As the original purchasers of the annuity, we would be informed but that would be the extent of what they would do with us.  A bank loan makes much better sense than their deals.

You can't DVR the show and watch it later?  Or if you have HBO max watch it anytime?

I recorded it but haven't got around to watching it yet.

If you subscribe to HBO, you have HBOMax.

That is a surprise ... what about Stoll, Togiai, Calcaterra, Rodgers are you uncomfortable with?  Especially when compared to our situation at Safety?

Don't forget our 5th string QB who is listed as a TE Jackson who is on the PUP list right now.

This is why you actually run practices in pads and tackle. That this is why you hit in practice. That game was embarrassing for the defense, way too many mistakes.

It still would not Shock me if we lost the Lions week one. Been calling that for the last month plus. The downfall is we have the weaker schedule in the beginning. So for using those first few games as preseason and lose some we should win the back half is going to be that much harder. I'm still sticking with eight maybe nine games tops.

Tell that to Derek Carr

Someone told me last week that pre-season games don't matter because they don't actually knock off rust.  Don't worry, we're good.

Hunt is a good big back. However my concern is what will the contract look like? We can't overspend on a running back. It would be even worse if we gave Hurts an extension next year. Then we're giving two giant contracts to running backs

Also, after watching the first two episodes of Hard Knocks, I have to admit that I really like the staff Detroit has put together.  Campbell comes off the wrong way with things like his kneecaps quote but I've got to say he has a staff of guys who played in the league.

I never understood the push for Duce to be a HC but getting a behind the scenes look at him, from a players standpoint I definitely see why guys would want to play for him.  X's and O's is another question but as a motivator, he's good. Up and down the staff he has young former players and I think that's a recipe for success.  They should have a decent defense.  Offense all falls on the shoulders of Goff.

I can see them trying to be physical and high tempo against the Eagles.  Run the ball right at them and use Hockenson against the Eagles safeties.
0-1 after Detroit wouldn't surprise me at all.

Usually, you try to use annuities when there's a specific reason such as long-term home health or attendant care.  In the workers' comp side of things, absent a compelling reason, the lump sum is often about converting annuity into a reasonable lump sum that is a fair value of future benefits.

Sure looks like a criminal attorney to me who ripped Jim "The Texas Hammer” Adler’s commercials.  There are, of course, numerous "Hammer”s out there in billboard attorney ads. Why is your profession so violent.  Never seen a clams professional throw down for a "fight”.  Heck, @TorontoEagle is just working through the day to get to a doobie.

I think their defense has looked bad in pre-season games.  I expect they will plan on running the ball against the Eagles given their o-line.

Meh.  Campbell comes off like another HS Harry dope.  I like Duce, but the whole competitive thing with the DC was corny.  A coaching staff of all former NFL names isn’t always the best option.  Mark Brunell, really?

Mark Brunell learned from some of the best West Coast offensive coaches around.  He was on the Packers team with Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid, John Gruden and Steve Mariucci and then played for 17 years in the NFL.  He was a top level QB for a few years.

Yea, it might come off as HS Harry Dope but no more than our Bro in Chief wearing his t-shirts.

👎  For a third contract for a less than 500 yard, 27 year old back up running back who missed time the last two seasons with injury and was cut by AR for two significant domestic violence incidents.  That’s a Jerry Jones type player.
