He's a solid player on a cheap deal at premium position and brings a level of toughness and attitude to the defense.

He is a knucklehead.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

This is what he is and this is what the offense is.  The sooner everyone comes to terms with that, the better.  He is not the guy.  I don't know how much more we all need to see.  The entire offensive approach (1st,2nd, 3rd team) has been dumbed down because of the lack of a real passing attack.

It's everything I told everyone the night he got drafted.  I'm so sick of always being right.

Yeah, I love the ESP tweet saying Hurts wasn't great but the offense was worse. Yeah, that happens when the QB sucks.

Yeah aye.  Not sure what you hosers call home runs up there.  Probably frozen over by now.

It's a beautiful 27 degrees here today. And we call 'em Joe Carters up here...

Sorry, couldn't resist!

He doesn’t look at Foles at all. This is not a good take. Stop posting it every week.

Is he saying Eagles offensive co-ordinator Shane Steichen looks like Nick Foles ??

That damn heat index strikes again

Look guys, Gardner Minshew looks like Nick Foles.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew talks Eagles' preseason win over Cleveland Browns

Funny joke.

That is Nick Foles

Theres not a single corner in the NFL who is locking up Tyreek Hill 1 on 1 with the entire field to use.  Couldnt give less of a ish about him winning 1 rep when their QB is somehow even worse than ours when there are live bullets.

Miami are the paper tiger darlings this year, just dont get hurt. Id rather Slay just jog through that rep, its pointless.

Someone explain to me how this is more beneficial than just having the starters play a few preseason series.

Thankyou.  In a game, there could be safety help, Slay may only have to cover underneath in a zone, the defensive line may have disrupted Tua and he had to look somewhere else and Hill gave up on the route.

Having your #1 CB match up against one of the fastest guys in the NFL in what is basically a 40 yard dash matchup is pointless, and here we are with the potential results.

That is a consideration.  Hayes played effectively/productively until he was 32.  Getting four high quality years out of Allen on a Rookie contract would be excellent return on investment.

I really think you’re overselling Allen’s potential. All he’s really shown is that he runs fast, which everyone already knew. The fact that he’s been running with the fourth team should be an indicator that he’s not making the 53. There are so many guys ahead of him. I wouldn’t object if he makes the PS, but I think that’s about as far as he will go.

Much like Reagor, he is a net negative to the team.

He has 26 ACCEPTED penalties in his career.

Compared to 21.5 sacks.

How is that solid? He's a giant POS. And, even takes cheap shots at our own guys (See Andre Dillard). F Barnett.

He has 76 QB hits. He's always on those lists for pass rush win rates. He is by far a more contributing and productive player than Reagor.  Reagor is a waste of space out there. Barnett is a quality backup DE.

As for getting into it with Dillard, Dillard could use some mental toughness so I don't have issue with that.

Looked like a pulled hamstring to me.

I feel like Slay had hammy issues last year too, didn't he?

Maybe he's just done with training camp at this point.

But its always him!

I personally don't remember that but maybe I'm wrong. Slay likes to do those fake out injuries in games where you think something bad happened and then he's back out there 2 plays later.

Derek Barnett, the 14th overall pick in the draft.

If this is what we are saying about the 14th overall pick in the draft, he is a waste of space.

TJ Watt was drafted the same year as Barnett.  TJ Watt had 22 1/2 sacks last year, more than Barnett's 21 1/2 over 5 years.

TJ Watt has 72 career sacks in his 5 years in the league, Barnett has 76 QB hits.

@HazletonEagle did this cover it sufficiently, or would you like to add anything.

Kinda lame and corny but I'd expect nothing less coming from the Saints.
