That was the guy we got for JJAW? And he’s already flipped him? Haha nice

He must have known the Titans were interested in him too.  That's good work by the FO.  They got something for a player they were going to cut and then used the player to move up a round in the draft.

What does Trump have to do with anything?  Are you one of those putzes so hell bent on making everything about politics or hatred towards people you disagree with?  Take your schtick elsewhere or retire…again.

Okay, I'll bite.  What do you see as the #1 reason our society has become so much more polarized today than it was a decade ago?  It has nothing to do with politics.  It has to do with messaging.   Look at the realities behind Trump's use of Twitter in his campaign.  The typical Twitter user is the antithesis of Trump's core supporters.  So why was Trump on Twitter if he wasn't going to get any meaningful number of votes from Twitter users?  It was simple ... Twitter allowed him to (1) control the narrative and (2) stoke the polarization.

Man I tried to keep a nice civil convo in here today, giving y’all insight into Canadian life. I get on the subway and now you’re all wound up again.

F it, I’m getting high and going to play beach volleyball.

Canadian beaches are worse than Canadian bacon.

Let’s not do this.

Not insufficient. Incomplete. Which is just reality. Have to be smart enough to judge probabilities and risks, along with understanding how a team fits together.

people who are poor performers are always blaming externalities like luck. Hitting the lotto is luck. Bad drafting is poor performance

One of the few interesting observations in "Good to Great" was top CEOs blame themselves for mistakes, but credit luck and their employees for their successes, the mediocre credit themselves for their successes and blame everything and everyone but themselves for their mistakes.

Which makes sense, if you credit others you build loyalty and don't fool yourself that your crap don't smell, if you take responsibility for mistakes you're more motivated to ensure they're not repeated.

So which category do you fall in?

More memorable Eagles career:  Gore or Amadi?

They were just talking about this on 97.5 like this guy was trying to give Howie credit in comparison.

I don't think he realizes that Cooper also had a massive contract that factored into the trade compensation.

Just struggle seeing Eagles have 2 QBs and 7 WRs. Does a 7th WR deserve to make the team? 6 I see.

Also, Kyron Johnson IMO is too good to cut. EDGEs get picked up immediately.

The Ugo Amadi trade opens up a space for Kyron Johnson.  So Howie was listening to you.

Here's a question @RLC and everyone.  If Howie were to be able to get the Bengals to trade Jessie Bates to us, would you feel investing $12 million of this year's Cap for Bates would be worth it?  And what do you think the Bengals' asking price would be beyond the $12 million of Cap relief that they would get by moving his guaranteed contract on to another team.  They appear to have Bates' replacement already on the team in former Michigan safety Dax Hill.

The granddaddy of them all.

LeCharles

I think the Eagles poached Seattle for that social media manager too.  If anyone watches this and actually gets excited please tell me why.

He's a Dallas fan. He's ripping his own team.

What about Marquise Goodwin?  He stuck around longer than those other 2.

I highly doubt this has anything to do with Kyron Johnson.

RLC said EDGE's get picked up immediately.  First off, he is not an edge, he is a 6-0 235 pound LB.

He is listed as the 3rd string SAM, and the Eagles are not going to keep 7 LB's, and in his case, they would have to keep 8.

Meh haven't seen them do much outside of really egregious attacks/spamming/trolling etc. Which I'm fine with.

You need to go back to RLC's response and reread it.  He clearly stated that I needed a space on my projected 53 for Johnson.  Since I had Amadi as one of my 53, his trade dropped me down from 53 to 52 and the opportunity existed to slide Johnson into that open slot.

Well I did not see your projection, but there is no scenario that Johnson makes it.

Man, if you're not experiencing any excitement over the team but you're spending hours every day on here talking about them, what the hell are you even doing?

FYP

At this point how many of what positions the Eagles keep is a matter of conjecture, not a fact.

I’ve made it clear that my fandom for the team has dwindled over the last few years but I still enjoy the conversation and debates about the Eagles.

I’m excited to see AJ Brown on Sundays.  I want to see these young LB in action and I want to watch the OL.

Point I was trying to make was that weak attempt at a practice highlight video showing what appears to be 10-15 yard slants and outs with the exception of the first catch for Brown.  I find the title "dropping dimes” silly. That’s a video of basic throws every HS QB makes in practice too.
