If you're comparing policy platforms then I'd agree with you. Progressive agendas, by definition, will always be the "extreme".

Unfortunately they dont really have anyone else in the party who is relevant because they spent so many years focusing on trying to make Hillary a legitimate candidate, and failed.

And yes, on the republican side Oz winning an election, and the PA governor race are very scary things. Manchin who let COVID run wild in Florida is scary as president as well.
