If x-rays are negative, probably lis franc if it’s being labeled as foot and not ankle.

The Twitter doctors are speculating lis franc (which he injured previously) or turf toe.

Davis did his job all night. I expect to see his snap count go up the rest of the season with their upcoming schedule. Some heavy run based teams coming up in PIT, HOU, IND, TEN, CHI.

I believe it was one of the NBC team (or it could have been a poster here in the Blog during the game) that noted that when Davis is in the middle of the field is much more vulnerable to passes.  Gannon appears to deploy zone coverage behind that 5-2 or 5-1 front.  I can't help but wonder whether man coverage on the receivers isn't the better way to go when Davis anchors the 5-man front.

Check his "swag walk" after the play

My take on Hurts at this point is that we probably underrate him in terms of his ability to execute an option offense.  If you set aside his running ability and just look at his decision making in the context of the offense, he does a very good job making the correct choices and executing the plays.  To do that, he doesn't need to be an elite passer.  The question that will be answered with this team is how far can that offense get them.  I don't know that the offense will get them to a Super Bowl.

My bigger concern is still Gannon.  The Cowboys had him figured out because the defense was so readable.  The team was lucky that Rush underthrew that pass to Lamb.  Solak pointed it out in his podcase with Sheil Kapadia.  The Eagles only use Davis in 5 man fronts.  So whenever he's in the defensive huddle they know what the defense is going to be before they call a play.  It's idiotic and simplistic.  The fix is simple and should have been an adjustment after the Cowboys' first TD drive.  They should have given Davis snaps in the 4 man front.  The 93 yard drive was play after play of inexplicable defensive playcalling and use of personnel.  Gannon did nothing to trick them or show some different look.  He plays scared and to not lose rather than to win.

Gardner as well. Did any one notice the difference between Wallace & Gardner? Defense suffered in that absence, just like with the Lane Johnson injury on offense. Pretty astonishing. Gonna have to pay for a young safety in free agency any way you look at it. Mind as well try to lock him up before the bidding begins.

Gardner was extremely positive in his post-game presser.  he seems to be really enjoying playing for this team and with Slay, Bradberry, Maddox and Epps.  Also, did you see the guns on Gardner in that presser?

I'm so glad I'm not living in a Cornell dormitory right now.  Giants 5-1 and Jets 4-2.  That would be insufferable!!!!

Wonder if they call about Dillard.

If they want to give us Cam Akers ( and Cooper Kupp ) I am listening.............

Lucky for us, the Eagles rarely allow teams to come back in the second half after a double digit lead.

Probably a lis franc as schefter alluding to it’s likely a season ender. Based off how it looked i wouldn’t be shocked if it was that. Looked like his ankle got caught up underneath then his foot got bent with it. I’m surprised they didn’t get the cart out cause he needed to really be helped off the field.

Rough Sunday for the Cardinals

Akers and a 2nd maybe. Wouldn't do that straight up. Akers doesn't look good.

I think it had more to do with coming directly off the Raiders game.

That didn’t help, but people in here were definitely complaining about using flowers as an analogy to a bunch of grown men football players. It was laughable.

What an awesome pic

I think kingsbury could get fired if they lose Thursday especially if it’s really bad

Agreed.

SPeaking of the Cards need them to come up big for us Thursday night. Hopkins will be back. Don't think Winston is gonna get his job back.

I think in another month, the pick standings are going to shift a lot. I think the Raiders are better than their record indicates, as are the Lions, though the Lions may be 1-5 after next week. I think the Bears, Washington are worse.

Not that it matters but didn't he just sign an extension in the offseason?
