Side note - it's hilarious to me how Mailata just repeatedly taps Dante Fowler on the head - when he got into the neutral zone. I mean that's a large ass man getting tapped on the head like he's a toddler

I said it during the game... Look at how Vander Esche is in the hole early, then vacates the hole for no reason and gives Sanders an easy TD.

If they want to give us Cam Akers ( and Cooper Kupp ) I am listening.............

I think I pass on Akers.  He's not what he was.   But they have no picks to offer.   So, Kupp it is.

They may be better off with Heinicke. Wentz just has a way of making everything harder than it needs to be.

Such a massive bummer to not get a Wentz return to Philly game.

Is it possible we could have 2 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard TE by the end of this season?

Right, @Iggles_Phan ??

I remember that game for many things... BDawk got his ring.  My son was at the game.  It was cold as anything up in that wind tunnel.   What happened on the field is a blur and I don't think on it often.

No thanks on Akers. Kid's a dud.

Akers and a 2nd maybe. Wouldn't do that straight up. Akers doesn't look good.

Umm, maybe you missed this part

Over / under 2 1/2 games played once he signs.

I will take the under.

They would be better off giving Sam Howell the chance to show what he has. Everyone knows what Heinicke is and is not.

But wasn't that their own pick? I think the pick the Eagles traded was the one they used for that offensive tackle who's been injured.

That could be. The Saints made so many trades I’ve lost track.

Goedert is borderline on pace. Smith is on pace for 1,100 and Brown is on pace for 1,400. So yea, it's possible. I don't know if it's likely though.

It was. They traded with Washington who ended up getting Dotson with their pick. But the pick came from Philly, from Indy.

I noticed a few big runs with Davis on the field (which could skew the stats) but those runs all looked to me like Davis was doing his job and somebody else wasn't in the gap.

You are right. Here's Pollard's 14-yard run. The culprit of this piece is Edwards, who fails to find his run fit.

Davis is in the square, Edwards in the oval.

Davis is doubled but both LBs are clean at this point. Edwards has help on his left. His responsibility is the A gap straight up the hash. Davis has clogged the other A gap.

Instead, Edwards runs himself into the back of Davis, leaving his A gap wide open.

And Pollard goes for 14.

Here's some stats extrapolated for the rest of the season:

Hurts- 4200 passing yards, 17 Passing TDs, 830 Rushing Yards, and 17 Rushing TDs

Sanders - 1300 rushing yards, 11 Rushing TDs

Smith - 1100 receiving yards, 8 Receiving TDs, 93 Catches

Brown - 1400 receiving yards, 6 Receiving TDs, 93 Catches

Goedert - 1000 receiving yards, 3 Receiving TDs, 74 Catches

Watkins - 250 receiving yards, 3 Receiving TDs, 17 Catches

Obviously these will all come down a good bit, but for a college offense this is a pretty good pace.

Eh...we got enough receivers.

Always fun to listen to these.

I watched the last TD drive to Smith.  The first play ("A taste of Landon Dickerson down your throat") looked like counter trey to the right.  Then later they ran it the other way with Seumalo and Driscoll pulling left.  Then again after the CJCG second INT.

@justrelax, please tell me I saw that correctly.

Eagles traded them two picks for their original 1st. They traded up with the Wentz pick for Olave and then sat at the Eagles original pick at #19 and took Penning. We traded New Orleans original pick for Brown.

I know it's not going to happen but I wish we could cut down on the Hurts rushing. There's just so many weapons

And this is why Eagles/Cowboys will always be on SNF

Didn't understand this at the time and still don't understand it now. I think one of the the line judges even signaled 1st down at first.

It's very easy to understand.

Mike McCarthy is an idiot.
