I was reading this expecting to see he bought an Eagles sweat shirt and put it on but got lost on his way to the seat and got mingled into a group so into the Eagles that they were in full uniforms and he ran out of some tunnel expecting to find his seat but………

Think the NFL is regretting giving the Broncos so many primetime games? They are boooooring.

Merrill is lost without his spotter. His vision is so poor that he can't see the numbers, so when he calls plays he waits til the last sentence to say who it was who made the play. For example, he won't say, "Hurts throws to Gainwell who rumbles for ten yards" but instead will say, "Hurts throws, caught upfield and running with the football for ten yards...is GAINWELL!!"

Players are far and away the most important part of a team’s success. 

But he's calling a more aggressive game this year (usually). More blitzing. More aggressive coverage. Now part of that is because he feels he has the players to be more aggressive - so certainly having better players is a crucial component here - but still... it's not like he's calling the same plays out there.

Obviously he has much better personnel to work with, but is he maximizing their talents? I’ve been a little frustrated with the lack of use of Davis, but I may also be seeing Davis as much better than he is now. I even noticed he was never out there on 4 man fronts, and I’m no expert by any means so other teams and have definitely picked up on it. 
 

I feel the DBs are playing at a pretty high level, but we still lack a consistent pass rush and the run defense is spotty at times.

Agreed ... it is a good point ... and as you illuminated, not a point that is single threaded.

So we are +12 in turnovers. That's at least a few clear of anyone else. Is that sustainable?

He doesn't put enough pressure on QBs and is getting bailed out by the best secondary talent wise Philly has seen in a LONG time.
