Well Reagor for a 5th (likelihood of a 4th seems remote) and a seventh works but opening that spot for Book and going four deep at WR without a RS for punts is a concern.  Can any of the DBs return punts?

Apparently Jobe was working out there during camp. But presumably he's not healthy at the moment. I suspect Covey will either be upgraded to the 53-man roster immediately or will be activated off the PS for a few games until that option expires, at which point he would then be added to the active roster.

See this is what's so frustrating about Howie.

Made the bad pick to start, never got anything out of them, then makes a genius move to undo the mistake he made in the first place.

Good on him but JFC it'd be so much better if he didn't make the mistake to begin with.

Not quite.    This doesn't undo the mistake by any means.   The mistake lingers on.

A 7th and a conditional 4th is WAY more than I expected. Now, which WR becomes WR5? Cain, Covey, Allen or someone outside the org?

Who cares? Hurts won't be able to hit them down the field anyway ;)

This trade is pretty good value for how poor Reagor's been here.

Definitely not ideal since, in hindsight, we torpedoed the pick.  But getting this much back is as much of a win as we could've expected

Meh. I'd have rather seen Abrams, White, or Price...rookies.

I like this more than running it back with Howard.

Agreed. He's a Gator, Howie just can't help himself.

Ummm...never really thought about Howie's circle in that way...

Sounds like some behind a high priced pay wall dark net porn site stuff...

Not really into that...

Maybe @hputenis would know😉

Sounds like you already know dude.

Howie making another QB jersey number available.

Chess, not checkers.

So we essentially traded Reagor for Gardner-Johnson

More about PR and ST then WR for me at WR5.

Slip and fall claims are dead in the water in NC for any open and obvious hazard such as a banana peel.  So there's no claim in NC for the robot dog.

If those banana peels were just thrown down a minute ago by a trespasser, how did they get so brown? You're telling the banana thief is stealing mushy bananas? No, those peels were all yellow with a little bit of green when they were discarded.  The homeowner certainly should have known they were there and cleaned them up for his robot dog guest.

I've opened and eaten bananas whose peels looked just like that. Recency is not on the table regarding how long they may have been on the floor. I threw em there 10 minutes ago....missed the trash can...Robot Dog was out back doing his electro biz, never saw the hazard...

Yup, in a way.

Or, we traded the 21st pick in the draft for the 105th pick in the draft.

I went back and checked some TC notes.  Apparently Watkins and Gainwell both saw time catching punts.  Both have some KOR experience so it might be one of them.

Howie traded the 57th pick in the draft for the 132nd pick in the draft.

Then, Howie traded the 21st pick in the draft for the 105th pick in the draft.

And in that same time span, the Raiders traded two top 20 picks for absolutely nothing.

Howie somehow scrambles out of terrible picks/situations by extracting some value for guys like Wentz, JJAW and Reagor.

Are we the Raiders, I do not care.  If Howie had not messed up both picks, he would not have gotten pennies on the dollar for a 1st round pick, and we would not have had to continue using 1st round picks to fix those mistakes.

A lot of times the lower picked player ends up being better....

If Allen could return kicks/punts he'd be great in that role as he's shown he can be a legit gunner.

Not sure that's in his skill set though.

Agreed, but that's like buying a stock at $100 and then having it dipping down to $5, but somehow you managed to sell it off for $10.  The ultimate loss is better than it could have been, but it's still a terrible investment.   But, when you have a bad investment, sometimes you need to just cut your losses.  That was done here and for me, even better than having the picks coming back, which are nice, is having him no longer also sucking up a roster spot.  Those are finite.  We know what he is, and what he isn't.  Time to kick the tires on someone else.

Yeah, Ugo Amadi was so good we turned around and traded him before he even unpacked his suitcase.
