And when the Eagles have been confronted with Trevor Lawrence, a Cardinal team in disarray, and Cooper Rush they have been close games.

The massive difference at QB give the Bills and Chiefs a massage edge in a head to head matchup with the Eagles.

No they dont, what would the line be?

The Eagles have a better roster than both teams, especially considering the Bills' injuries

It is OK to not be a full homer.  The Eagles may have the best roster in the NFCE, even that is debatable, but they do not have a better roster than the Chiefs and the Bills.

There is a bunch of players I would take from both teams over the guys we have.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 33

Steelers 13

Quez has 100 yards and a TD

Okay but do you actually watch the Eagles play and then watch the Chiefs and Bills play? They execute their offense far more efficiently and for more than just 1 quarter a game.

KC just dropped 44 on the Niners' defense in SF.

Falcons dropped 28 points on the 49ers defense as well.  We have the a top 5 defense and a top 5 pass defense.  We have what is probably the best starting pair of corners in the league.

If you want to cower in fear of the Chiefs then go for it but I have full faith in this Eagles team ability to best them.

Eagles 42

Eagles defense gets a TD.

The Eagles absolutely have a better roster than the Chiefs.  Wanna break it down?

Bills is arguable, Im not going to pound the table for anyone saying theyre better.  But they're not on another "tier" either.

Bills and Chiefs are better.  Quit being a blind homer.  It’s ok to admit they’re better.  Will the Eagles get to that level?   Maybe, maybe not.  But to deny that they are better is just silly.

No its not silly at all.

Bills and Chiefs are 1-2 in yards and points offensively.

Bills are 1st in yards and points allowed defensively.

They are the #1 team in the NFL, and on a tier by themselves.

Josh Allen is the best QB in the NFL, and I would take Diggs and Davis over AJ and Smitty.

Coach: Have to go with AR because of his track record

QB: Clearly the Chiefs

RB:. Eagles.  Sanders is the best RB1 of an underwhelming group.

TE: Id say push but to be objective Ill go Chiefs, with Kelce edging out Goedert at TE1.

WR: Eagles

OL: Eagles

DL:. Eagles. I want to say push because Ive been disappointed with the Eagles. But I think objectively this is for the Eagles.

LB: push

Secondary: Eagles

Fight me.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 37
Steelers - 16

Bonus

Jordan Davis plays more DT snaps than any other DT on our team
Goedert goes over 110 yards

You’re gonna go position by position to win whatever point you think you have.  But what you won’t do is weight the QB position, because the delta between Mahomes and Hurts is huge.

Ok I understand your point but we have some significant deltas too

And on the football field the Chiefs WRs would have to line up against our secondary, reducing the impact of Mahomes' delta anyway

I'm not sure the Eagles can hang with the Bills or Chiefs in a shoot out. 2nd half offense is a concern and I don't want to hear "they were running the ball because they were up big" excuse. The 2nd half against the Cards was ugly. The 3rd quarter against the cowgirls was a ish show. They should be putting teams away in the 3rd quarter and running the clock in the 4th

I can see a split with the cowgirls and maybe a loss to Tenn. Even with us resting our starters, Minshew will f up the Giants in the last game

My revised prediction after the Bye would be 13-4.

Texans stink, but traveling there on a short week with a banged up O-line doesn't make me feel great.

I think they lose one of Titans/Packers.

Second Dallas game being 3 straight road games + game probably meaning more to Dallas at the point is a L.

Split one game with Giants. Maybe they rest some key starters Week 18.

Eagles need the Giants SB25 game plan. Run the ball to control the clock. Don't want to get into a shootout.

For those who want to try and compare Allen and Hurts

Allen has 1980 passing yards, 17 TD's and completing 66.9% of his passes.

Hurts has 1514 yards, 6 TD's and completing 66.8% of his passes.

And before you jump in with " what about Hurts rushing ", here is his total offense

1807 yards and 12 TD's.  Both lower then Allen's passing stats only, and Allen has 257 rushing yards and 2 TD's.

The gap between Allen and Hurts is HUGE.

I don't trust Gannon or his scheme against those teams. The offense will need to score to keep up with both

He was born in Houston, Texas. If he had Phillies gear on, you'd be calling him a homer...

Per Jeremy Fowler somewhere behind their paywall

An Eagles player that still has trade interest is left tackle Andre Dillard. Teams I've talked to believe the Eagles would move him but need a good pick to do so, most likely a third-rounder.

"The Eagles are always a factor at the trade deadline. GM Howie Roseman is on the attack this time of year, looking for bargains. Teams say the Eagles are looking for pass-rush help after the loss of Derek Barnett to injury. The top pass-rusher implicated in trade deals is Burns, but the Panthers have turned down massive offers, which is their way of saying they're keeping him. (One GM told me the minimum trade package for Burns is two first-rounders, which is wild -- and good for Burns' contract extension projections). Chicago's Robert Quinn could be a good midrange option to consider here. But it's noteworthy that Chicago made clear privately as of late last week that it wasn't moving Quinn. Then, the Bears went ahead and rocked New England 33-14 to climb to 3-4. So, perhaps Chicago stays put on him. An Eagles player that still has trade interest is left tackle Andre Dillard. In other NFC East trade news, Commanders DT Daron Payne's name has circulated, but I continue to hear Washington does not have plans to trade him."

I would take a 3rd for Dillard without hesitation.

Why? And thin out your O-line depth for a 3rd round pick? No thanks. We have no idea what going to happen with Lane Johnson as he has mentioned retirement prior to the start of the season.
