If the Eagles end up at say, 15-2….is Howie the executive of the year?

I think it depends more on post season results.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Sean McVay won coach of the year over Doug Pederson in 2017.
Ryan Pace won GM of the year over Howie Roseman in 2017.

😡

Howie won in 2017. Pace won in 2018.

Thanks. For some reason, I thought Howie lost.

Ryan Pace winning any GM award. Man.

Voting occurs after the regular season ends, unless that was changed recently.

😆 No it wasn’t.  It was recently discussed by me a few weeks ago especially when the Brian Burns talk started.    WTF are you talking about?  Anyone with minimum brain cells knew they were going to try and add an edge rusher before the deadline.   You kept arguing that the DT part of the D line was deep.  Again, DT is not Edge.
You even listed Tuiopulotu or what ever his name is.  😝

Then again you also argued that Tarron Jackson would be a solid part of the DE rotation after one decent half in a preseason game.  So there’s that.

No I did not say anything about tarring Jackson. You need to go back to the original comments and you will find that any Jackson comments were by other posters.  Further, I said nothing about DT in the more recent comments. I referenced the full nine player rotation of the D-Line.

you are throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks.  That is lazy.  You can do better.

Has anyone noticed the racist animation every time someone hits a 3 on the 6ers NBC Philly broadcast?

Depends which one you are referring to. PFWA votes in January, Sporting News which I think is the more prestigious one is March.

That would be insane. Source is unknown but this team loves to makes splashes and speedy pass catching backs, so I can't just dismiss it. Still think they would need a power back though. I don't understand having a RB room full of all light weight pass catching type backs.

Price? 2nd rounder?

It is, but man do red flags like this make me question what they know that we don’t

$13 and $12M next two years but completely non guaranteed as is right now. They can walk away clean with no dead money.

It is Cap move.  Anything they pay him this year is a charge against the Cap.  Make that charge as small as possible.

I had a doozy of an afternoon.

Its not often someone can break sports news to me. It happened to me. I was dealing with some crap and someone told me about Quinn.

Just want to say, Howie is GM1.

Imagine if Howie turned Dillard and a 4th in to Quinn and a 3rd.

Well, thats actually not that crazy of a day for Howie. The best.

I know, just meant it all seems a little too good to be true.

Unless we can get Will Anderson. Though he is looking like a top 3 pick.

If the Saints lose to the Raiders this weekend and the Panthers beat the Falcons, and the Texans beat the Titans the Saints pick moves up to #1 … not just top 3.

At RB, Im looking at guys who will be free agents next year. Would be pretty cheap to begin with, and then cheaper yet as 1 year rentals.

Damien Harris

David Montgomery

Jamaal Williams

All would be great. Strong runners for short yardage, or mashing clock in the 2nd half of games where we lead.

Dont care about a guy like Josh Jacobs who you are probably going to have to pay really well if you extend. Would rather draft Charbonnet

They desperately want their first round pick back

Although Quinn does not help us get younger on the DL, its pretty nice that he is still signed for another 2 years. He can continue to be a solid part of the rotation (right @4for4EaglesNest?)

And the 4th round pick does not preclude the team from drafting someone early.

Also, his contract would seem to be one where they take some of that salary in future years, and convert it to bonuses to spread out over more years. This move is not only cheap right now, but Howie will likely use him to free up more cap space. He is all salary, and no bonus right now. Howie is no doubt salivating over this opportunity.
