(1) What is it about that question that has anything to do with whether or not Jackson was a "solid rotational player?

(2) Do you know the difference between a question and a statement?

(3) The reason the reply to ManuManu is meaningful is that you argued that in a conversation with you I changed the subject from Edge to D-Line ... which never happened.

Awful news.  Hate the death of the outdoor stadium that is consuming the NFL.

Agreed.

The bet is pretty clear. DUM thinks we will have $13.5 million in cap space in 2023. That means the team will have that much money to spend on players not currently under contract for 2023.

I say the actual number is closer to $40 million. That means we will have that amount to spend on player contracts.

The cap is fluid, but cap spending is not. Once you spend a dollar, it is spent. The fluid part is that the team can create cap room, which they will next season. Based on his posting, DUM's argument is that they won't do that, and only have that amount to spend.

Not at all my argument, once again, I SAID THAT IS WHAT THEY CURRENTLY HAVE, please show me the math on getting to 40 million restructuring those 3 players.

I never said that is what they will have, I said that is what they have NOW.

Please give me the data how they will get to 40 million, show me the restructures.

They will get to $40 million in 2023 and be able to resign the free agents they want to resign in 2023.

You are claiming they won't be able to.

That's they bet. You are claiming they have $13.5 million to spend in 2023.

So either take the bet or admit you were wrong.

No worries, just was curious.

Looking at 2023, there really aren't a lot of levers to pull.  Ironically, Quinn is the best candidate to restructure.  I hope Howie just waits until the offseason to assess his effectiveness in this scheme.

Told you...

After that stupid rant in response to my post you realized I am right.

Guarantee Howie saw not just the player,  but the opportunity that contract presented. He traded for a player and probably close to 20M in cap space over the next 2 years.

Not at all what I said, I am asking you to do a little math and show me how.

Nice try. Now that you know you are wrong, you try to change the discussion.

You said they will have $13.5 million to sign free agents in 2023. They will actually have much more than that.

You were wrong, and your 2024 figure was wrong, by a massive amount.

You literally told me nothing.  Go back to taping NEPA ankles.

Once again, not what I said, all I asked was for you to show me some math.

I guess you can't, so I will move on.

Actuality,  I did.  You should reread that exchange. You look like a compete idiot right now for what you have said.

Oh gawd the cap lunatics...

Eagles: 30

WIP Afternoon's poll of the day is should the Eagles trade a 1st round pick for Kamara.

Dude, you said "people are going to whine about dead cap hit".

I pointed out he doesn't have any guaranteed money and they can cut him today with no hit.

Then you said yeah, but they can restructure him.  Well no s***.  This isn't some idea I just now became aware of.  I came to that conclusion almost immediately after the trade.

Now here is where it gets fun.  You seem to think this is some masterful cap saving move.  Um, no.  Not only if they restructure they will be guaranteeing they will be paying him the money at some point, but he is a new cap hit to 2023.  In NO way is this a cap saving move.  For the Bears, it was.

In short, you're a low IQ troll which is why you are stuck living in Hazelton.

@LeanMeanGM

Steelers 23-20

Hurts throws a pick 6

Eagles are the  best team in football , imo .

I wouldnt be surprised if it would take less than what CMAC got considering hes older and his looming suspension next year.

There's some revisionist history looking for a leg to stand on.

Actually my original post was about the fact that they could clear up money space, and that you guys would complain about the dead cap.

There were no yeah buts. It was all there up front. I said Howie was likely salivating over this contract to restructure it. You are the one that pretended I was already saying they saved money.  Cause you're stupid and can't read apparently.

You are dumb and misunderstood, or are just trying to change it now to give yourself an escape from losing.  You've already lost.

I honestly don't know why I respond to his posts, even when he literally tags me to suck me in.  You'd think I'd learn by now.  This is on me, my bad.

Where’s @Bacarty2? It’s Steelers week!
