  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Upgraded to expected

So still not confirmed yet, but heading in that direction.   Great.  We need Harris around.

La'Mical Perine to the Eagles practice squad.  Howie getting Gators to play with Anthony Richardson next year.

Add Awosika to PS

Still missing Chachere, Gowan, and one or two of the DTs

EDIT: Gowan and a second DT.

Dickerson has missed some time. Hoping he is back at 100 percent.

Glad it's his last year here. Hoping we find a way to secure our new RB1 this year as he will inevitably be injured for a good portion of it.

Are they bubble wrapping Sanders because he's fragile?

I want Elliss' brother Noah signed to the PS and then put on IR.

As is often the case, we will have to agree to disagree.  You are looking at the transaction from the viewpoint of deciding whether to make it or not.  I'm assuming the transaction has already been made ... that it is an event that can not be undone ... sunk costs.

With that said, I respect your perspective ... just different assumptions.

I am looking at the entire process of each transaction so that I can learn not to repeat the bad ones.

"Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” - Winston Churchill.

Goes along with the idea of:  "Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me."

It's not a different assumption at all.  Obviously, the transactions of acquiring JJAW or Reagor are already done, and those costs are sunk and trading JJAW and Reagor was the best way to recoup the loss... but I am not going to ignore evaluating the loss as well.  And I can't really get super excited about the fact that they got back a 7th and 5th round pick for Reagor, when they could have just drafted JJ and not have to double down with Smith the following year in the draft... or triple down with Brown the year after that?  After spending a 2nd round pick the year before all of this for JJAW.   That's horrible process.  The ultimate outcome of having Brown and Smith, and basically trading away Reagor and JJAW for CGJ is better than some other outcomes, but not better than all possible outcomes.  This is better than nothing for JJAW and Reagor, but it is not a good outcome from what it could have been.  The good outcome was investing in a better player at the time the original picks were made.  And hopefully, the people making the decisions are recognizing their flaws and are correcting them.  Recent history would suggest they have done so.  But, from an engineering perspective, you HAVE to investigate failures so that you don't continually repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

He’ll probably drop the physical

It's interesting to me that the Eagles are apparently not adding Jason Huntley or Kennedy Brooks to the practice squad, opting instead for a castoff from the Jets. And I can't believe that Kary Vincent and/or Tay Gowan aren't going to be added. The Eagles actually traded for those guys.

Individual stock purchases are subject to such a myriad supply of new information that makes each specific buy or sell decision pretty unique.  However, at a portfolio philosophy level, you are correct.

But, as I said before, let's agree to disagree.

Brooks, Clark, Leo leave 1 left

So I'm sitting here for about three hours to track the Eagles practice squad. Based on reports -- and nothing official -- it appears that we have eight spots filled:

Devon Allen, Dean Cain, Britain Covey, Mario Goodrich, La'Mical Perine, Reid Sinnett, Noah Togiai, and Cameron Tom.

The ones I'm not convinced of are Covey and Sinnett. It's possible that someone saw Covey in the building and assumed he was on the PS while in fact he was there waiting to be signed to the active roster once the Reagor deal went down. Likewise it's possible that Sinnett was intended to be signed to the PS but that got torpedoed when they claimed Ian Book. My guess is that they both are on the PS, but I'd like a little more definitive.

Meanwhile we wait for eight more, nine if you could Leo.

Interest, dedication, available free time....all that, maybe more, whatever words work.

I respect your process. The ST Thread is always a go-to as well.

Glad you're on our side...:angel Thanks.

You know who it is........................

Howie sending messages straight to the EMB with Reagor to the Vikes and JJAW to the Seahawks.

Oh sure.

If you go by the stupid assumption that a team should hit on all their picks all the time.

If you accept that every team misses you can start to appreciate us being able to get some return on our misses unlike many -if not most- other teams.

There was some chatter a while back that at some point they may bring back Noah Ellis to the PS???

Did we lose anyone except Anderson?

Seems to be a very good PS.

Marvin Wilson.  No reason to sign Elliss until he can pass a physical.  He tore a hamstring.
