  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

My bad

I think Taylor gets claimed. He seems like the type a different coaching staff would want to get their hands on.

Maybe by Washington or the Giants.

Maclin was drafted in '09.  I mean you also have to consider that things like them taking Jordan Matthews over Davante Adams.

So... 11 years.   And, I did.

Yea, for sure have hesitation there. If something seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Seems like he might just be a nut job.   Time will tell.

Book, Taylor and Reagor, there should be one roster spot open at this moment.  Whom is Howie to sign or trade for?

No. Yuck to 39 and 41 on WR

Good news, Covey or Allen can get 52 now

There are good nut jobs, and there are bad nut jobs.  Hopefully, he's a good one.

BS narrative. Sure we missed on two WRs, and badly. Meanwhile we hit on linemen. Other teams missed there, hit here.

And I don’t agree with that idea of: ‘Just listen to the pundits, they know’ either. Just look at the Raiders.

It’s just stupid to focus that hard on a few bad picks while our team clearly is making great progress and is in the great scheme of things very successful.

We can be glad even the choices that fail return capital. And that’s especially true for failed QBs.

It's perhaps worth mentioning that the Pats missed on every pick in 2000 until their 6th round comp pick.

This is obviously subjective, but based off my superior talent evaluations I've compiled the Eagles drafts since 2010:

Take it for what it is, I don't have any context for other teams since 2010, but they really suck drafting in the 4th and 6th rounds.

I am lukewarm on Howie’s latest trades.  CGJ is a gamble at S at this point.  Low cost for potentially decent reward for one season.  One could argue Vincent was a whiff but only cost a 6.  One week rental for JJAW, two players likely to be cut.  JJAW was a high cost little reward player and in his last year, so that’s a sunk cost at this point.  Now turning One Week Rental into a 7 was a masterful stroke.  Reagor was a bust here.  Two years of Reagor, a seventh and a fifth for a first two years ago and passing on Jefferson is a loss anyway you look at it.  Cannot overlook that the failure of Reagor and JJAW to produce at the level they were drafted arguably cost two additional firsts and a fourth.  Now the fact he got anything for either suggests so ability to snake oil sell but that fact also reflects failed prospect analysis, something I am not yet convinced is fully behind him. The new scouting group has a real challenge next year.

So I agree with @Iggles_Phan’s analysis.

As has already been pointed out, they fired the GM responsible for those picks.

Kelce, Mailata, Watkins.. doesn’t feel like it.

He ripped off two Bengals helmets and was doing his best Myles Garrett impersonation at a joint practice

Can Ruggs use that excuse?  I was just driving.  I don't want to go back to nothing negative that happened when I was driving.

I think you missed the point.

Mailata was a 7th rounder, but the others:

Ok, not great.

Strange, felt like we got good picks day three in general.

He apparently has a history too. Likely gets overlooked because he's a HoF player
