I watched Maxey dominate. Turned to the phillies. In the 9th inning while watching on the youtube TV app on my phone, I simultaneously landed a PS5 for christmas for my kids. As soon as I finished that, Realmuto hit his homerun. Robertson nearly let it all go in the toilet, but didnt.

Great sequence of events. I was up even though I dont follow baseball. Whoever slept, as well as those who were saying the game was over, should turn in their fan cards to @downundermike.

I don’t even know how anyone could sleep after that game.

I'll watch College GameDay no matter where they go. I enjoy the show. I think it's cool they're going to schools they haven't been before or haven't been to in awhile over the same old schools.

I don't mind that they are at JSU but I agree to an extent that they are pandering.  ESPN hasn't given 2 craps about HBCU's until recent events and the new racially driven society we have.  Show me any ounce of coverage they had pre-2020.  If they wanted to showcase HBCU's, they would have made an effort to get the Grambling/Southern game that is always on NBC.  It's all for show.  

It's silly to complain that they are at a small school however because they have been making more of an effort to go to an FCS school once a year.  They've done NDSU, JMU (prep FBS) recently.  Deion is always going to draw a crowd so they are smart to give JSU some attention before he leaves.  Better believe though that once Deion is coaching at a Power 5 school, ESPN won't care one bit about JSU.

I agree with the last part. They did App State this year as well. Them going to Kansas this year was fun. I like when they switch it up. Every year you're guaranteed Bama, OSU, Clemson etc

I'm not watching currently but I hope they focus on some of the HBCU traditions.  Their bands, dancers and drum majors are next level.  The HBCU college football experience is so different and full of entertainment.  It's an event.  I go to UD games and when they play DSU they bring their band to Newark.  Unfortunately, UD has a terrible game atmosphere and they would rather pipe in music over the DSU band during the game rather than let their band create the experience.
