He apparently has a history too. Likely gets overlooked because a HoF player

Yeah when I read the Rams will discipline him in house I had a feeling he would get away with it.   Meanwhile Garrett ended up getting 6 games If I remember correctly

shhhh you racist.

Criticizing a grown man for using his helmet as a weapon on a football field is racist?

I don't need to criticize it.  But, they could absolutely prosecute it.  That's assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

I guess that happened while I was at Disney World.

Just practice though

Yup.  August 25th.   That was a Disney World Day.   While that was happening, I was dining at Hollywood Brown Derby.  Amazing dinner.  My son discovered Seafood newburg.  His new favorite.

No.  The point was someone compared Oaklands bad draft and releasing of players to what we just did with Reagor and JJAW.  And I pointed out that Oakland fired that GM.  That’s the point Mike is following up on.  It might not align with whatever your point is.

He is pretty much a pundit and prove that just because the media agrees on what picks are good that doesn’t actually make it so.

The Garrett thing happened in a game so league punished him. This happened in practice so the team gets to decide

The league isn't responsible for conduct or doling out punishment during any sort of practice, that falls on the team. That isn't the case for an actual game.

Also, the funniest part about the Garrett deal was how he claimed Rudolph said something racist to him. We never had a follow-up to that so I'm assuming there was never anything there at all.

Whatever happened to "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me"?

.  Now we are told that words are violence, and violence is just... 'practice'?

So outside of practice off the field the league can intervene (Deshaun Watson and countless other incidents) and on the field during a game they league can act.  But practice….?  Nope. Leagues hands are tied.

I don’t buy it.   Not for extreme cases.  The league should have forced LA’s hands a bit.

Yup.  Nothing 'practice' or 'football' about swinging your helmet as a weapon... even worse he used TWO helmets, which is a step above just using his own helmet.

Mailata was a 7th rounder, but the others:

Did you couunt Countess and Pryor as misses? Each of them have had an NFL career.  So I don't think they were misses.

It was a mostly peaceful practice.

Plus it was a joint practice which is different than regular practice.  He's not potentially hurting his own team but another teams players should make that different scenarios

Did you know that the Eagles traded JJAW to Seattle where DK Metcalf is and they traded Reachor to Minny where Justin Jefferson is.

Isn’t that wild?

Cincy is going to suspend him for the season.

Joe Douglas

Peters to the Cowboys feels wrong and dirty.

It would be like seeing Captain America in Soviet regalia

Howie has actually missed on one transaction in the last 48 hours … he let Jack Anderson go to the Giants as a waiver rather than as a trade.  I’m bummed about that miss!

Waived and not able to pick him back up afterwards?

Sounds like a calculated risk that didn't pan out. Giants aren't stupid, just inept.

Some guys get left in the boat wake, Team hoping the predators don't see him drifting out there....

Roster churning...

It's almost like the players don't really care where they play.

It would make up for his last 2 seasons here if he can fleece the Cowboys for this season.

Not when he false starts on their opening drive.
