Tbh even with Davis we’ve had some problems. Before conner got hurt in the cardinals games he had 9 Carrie’s and averaged 6.1 yards. Zeke the next week averaged 6.2 yards and zeke looked like old zeke and hasn’t all year. Last week warren and Harris combined on 14 rushes for 5.9.

For certain, the gameplan consisted of an extra safety to help stop the run. They even have Blankenship active today. But theyre playing the wrong guy.

If they wont play Blankenship, and they want an extra run defender out there they really ought to consider playing Dean instead of Wallace. I know dean is not a run stopping type of LB. But he is a bigger more physical player than a DB. He is likely better in coverage than Wallace, and better at tackling.
