They’re similar to the Bengals of last season only Burrow is a much better QB. We’ll see

Bengals offensive line is and was putrid.  Dolphins line isn't bad like that.  Not sure many teams have had the speed that Dolphins have on offense as well.

I agree. Their speed is all-time great. Tua is average with an average arm and not very mobile. We’ll see.

TDN has really gone downhill lately. They have the same articles up for a month or more. And they still dont have their mock draft game working. Seems like absolutely no one is working on that website.

Quite honestly, Im not afraid of the Chiefs this year.

Bills are too explosive.

Chiefs best WR is Juju who is the type of guy our CBs wont have trouble with at all. And we have coverage LBs and safeties, especially CGJ to help limit Kelce.

I would much rather see them if we reach the super bowl, than the Bills.

I still say the Niners are the best team in the NFC right now, and are only going to get stronger as they get healthy. I don't think the Eagles match up well against them. With that said, I love the run the Eagles are on!

There was an obvious and clear dropoff when Tua went out.  People understate Tua's importance to that offense.  Whatever you say about his arm or mobility he's able to get the ball out quick to his playmakers and let them use that speed after the catch.  Easier said than done when Bridgwater and their 3rd string weren't getting it done.

You can see the scouting reports for the 2023 prospects in a roundabout way. But I agree, it seems like the website has gotten taken over by folks looking to monetize the good work others did in prior years.

Can’t deal with Walter’s pop up site - PFN is still consistent.

Eagles are the 2nd best team in the league by advanced metrics. Blowing out teams is a sign of a good team.

I do a stats rating every week. The formula is based on yardage and turnovers primarily.  I have ratings going back fifty years. Going into this week, the Eagles and Bills were far and away the class of the field. The third team (Kansas City or Dallas, I don’t remember) was way behind. I believe it was Eagles one, Bills two. But the Eagles went down slightly after the Houston game, so they’re probably second at this instant.

Any valid statistical look at the Eagles this year is going to have them ranked very highly.

Covering them is one thing, I’m worried about tackling them, especially Deebo

yeah. They have their top 100. Shows the top 10 on the main page and Im not sure thats changed all year through the college season yet.

They had a ton of writers. No one can post a weekly mock? Not gettign any mocks.

No mock draft tool. And no new articles. They had a few before the college football season, of prospects to watch. Maybe a few more through the first 2-3 weeks. Then, theres been absolutely nothing in over a month.

I am not. They wont have that many completions.

How many teams in the entire NFL have had good QB play this year?  If you have provided your team with good QB play through 8 weeks, you are "elite" on the bell curve this year.

I do think the pro-Hurts crowd is looking like they are right on this one, but it feels like the goal posts have been moved with a new QB landscape right now.

I think the "wait and see” Hurts crowd was the most "right” in the whole thing.

There was no way for anyone to really know that he would make this kind of leap, but there were enough flashes and track record of intangibles that it was absolutely worth practicing patience.

The ones who spent every day of the off season in here slandering him look like morons, though.

As more NFL teams enter the graveyard, they should get their act together well ahead of bowl season.

This is a fair question.

  • Allen
  • Mahomes
  • Hurts
  • Tua
  • Burrow
  • Geno

Only guys I think have been very good week-win, week-out.  Then you get another tier of guys who are inconsistent, but have produced, like Cousins, Murray, Herbert, Goff, Stafford. Brady and Rodgers have been flat-out bad in some games.

Tua is being air lifted by an absurd WR corps...but what's produced is produced.  So he's on the list.  That's probably the order I'd put it too.

Not too worried about run defense, as long as Jordan Davis is back by playoffs. We just need to be average by year's end and will have home field hopefully. Feel like the road games have been worse for our run defense, but not sure what the stats say. If it's the collateral damage of possessing an elite pass defense that generates turnovers with sacks and interceptions, I am good with it. Add to that, the offense, can get leads and control the ball at will right now. So have fun running the ball and eating clock when you need points to come back. Not going to be a perfect team, but have a good formula and at the same time have so many ways to beat ya. I wish special teams could become a threat. Then it's game over.

Garrapolo doesn’t scare me at all, or Shanahan.

I don’t even visit the site anymore until draft season. I think they lost a lot of their best talent over the past couple of years.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you.  Hurts and Brees are 2nd Round proof that isn't true.  Dak and Cousins are similar 4th Round proof.  Brady is 6th Round proof as well. Russell Wilson and Joe Montana were 3rd Rounders. Mahomes and Big Ben and Rodgers were available at 8.

Right now Howie is surrounding our current "unlikely" Quarterback with the talent he needs to succeed.  It is only one person's opinion but Cameron Rising from Utah is considered to be by @Original Sin to be the best QB in this current crop of QB prospects and the way things are going right now he will be available when the Eagles pick during Day 2 of the 2023 Draft, possibly even Day 3.  Although Original Sin disagrees with me, I'm of the opinion that Max Duggan of TCU is another current dual-threat college QB who could thrive in this current Eagles Offensive scheme.

If the college game is going to groom QBs more as dual threat RBs than traditional pocket passers, then treating QBs with an approach similar to what is now used with RBs may well be the wisest use of resources.

TEN vs UGA, any players to watch in particular? Not sure Carter has recovered, and Nolan Smith is out for the year.  Hendon Hooker is even older than Kenny Pickett. Ringo, UGA TEs… probably some OL.

Hurts is too

burrow is still ahead based on weight of evidence.

Tyree Wilson on Brugler's big board could be used with our Saints pick.

Brugler's description:
"At 6-6, 270 with 35 5/8-inch arms, Tyree Wilson is big, long and strong. He is more powerful than crafty, flashing violence in his reach/hands and improved secondary moves. With his long-striding acceleration, it is easy to underestimate his closing speed in the pocket or when chasing outside. He ranks No. 2 in college football with 41 quarterback pressures."

A lot of defensive ends and corners in the top 50 prospects right now. I wouldn’t be shocked if those positions weren't our first two picks.

As long as it gets you going.

For me, it's Edge/CB with our 1st two picks. Too much at those positions.

Christian Gonlazez may have an absurd combine too.
