It's honestly not the worst bet to make because the NFC stinks. But then again everything rides on Hurts, Sirianni, & Gannon. So I would never make that bet.

25 to 1 is a great bet. That much action on it without Vegas adjusting would be my concern.

I know that.  That’s why it’s kind of dumb and pointless to say Cox deserves it because of how long he’s been in the league.

Again

Unless I’m drawing a blank, Cox has been the best defensive lineman for the Eagles in the last 25 years. Probably not quite a HOFer but he’s definitely an Eagles HOFer. Him being a captain is a no brainer and no big deal.

Stop being so cranky old man

Can't believe there wasn't anyone clamoring to sign him on here. End of an era.

My sportsbook is down to 20/1 already. Stupid conversion rate

Yeah ... but you would have smashed Rita MacNeil hard and often too

She was pretty good in Trailer Park Boys

Hell yeah!

Sirianni's big secret for the 53 spot is it will be filled by Covey or Allen at the latest possible moment.

Right now, I would handicap that division:

1)  Chiefs

2)  Chargers

3)  Broncos

4)  Raiders

Three teams make the playoffs, and the Raiders don't get a backdoor entry this time.

Remember in 2022 there are now 3 games dictated by your division finish the previous season, meaning Denver plays 3 last place teams but KC 3 first places.

I’m going with

1. Broncos (11-14 wins)

2. chiefs (10-13 wins)

3. raiders (7-10 wins)

4. chargers (7-9 wins)

If the Broncos beat the Panthers, Texans, Jags, the Jets, the Watson-less Browns…. (Which they should all easily) and then split their division 3-3, that’s already 8 wins. They go .500 their other 7 games and that’s an 11-12 win team before you even consider them being better than .500 in those games/in the division

Meanwhile KC gets the Bucs, the Bills, the bengals instead

Amazing how many chances this guy gets.

That wouldn't be smart. They already cleared waivers and are on the PS and can be elevated to game day. Unless someone is trying to poach them. just leave them there for now.

He might be.  It's sad that I'm not sure I like any of the backs we have to be a guy I want to give the ball to 15 times a game.    Sanders has all the skill in the world, but can't stay healthy at roughly that number.  Gainwell is rather small.  Scott is just ok in short stretches, but I think if he got more touches, he'd wear down more and be less effective overall.   And... I do miss having some bigger powerful backs.  The 2017 stable was really my cup of tea.

I don't mind smaller backs and the blog underrates Sanders as a runner.  I do prefer north/south runners especially with a good o-line.  The problem is that you can't really punish teams late in games if you don't have a back with more size than Gainwell and Scott. I don't think Sanders is too small to be that back but he hasn't been able to hold up from a health standpoint and he has fumbled.

He was punished far more than he should have been given his issues.

IMO there is no way the Eagles would (should) trade Minshew when they're starting a running QB every Sunday.  Any playoff aspirations would go up in smoke with Reid Sinnett and Ian Book leading the offense.  I would put the O/U for Hurts at 2 games missed to injury this season.  He runs to contact.

I think I'll take the over on that.

That would be incredible for him given the situation

Gordon never did anything 1/100th as bad as what Watson did, yet the NFL pretty much ruined his career because of antiquated policies while Watson got $230 million guaranteed.

She was fine with it. I sent her a link to it and she was OK. Originally she thought it would be around a thousand for a new grill.

Might have to get an outdoor outlet out in though to be able to plug it in.

Exactly.   Sanders doesn't have that style to be that back, and definitely not the durability.

So Nick says Sanders is still injured yet he's practicing today? That doesn't make any sense
