Who we rooting for tonight?  Falcons to stay a game up on New Orleans or Panthers to tie NO in wins... Oh the dilemma for tonight

Falcons to stay ahead of the Saints. Even if the Panthers were to win, I don't think they'll pass the Saints in the standings. Atlanta is the safer choice, IMO. For now, just focus on the Falcons and Bucs winning their games. They already have enough losses where it won't matter to the Eagles.

BONUS: Eagles score a defensive/special teams touchdown.

$3.49/lb normally around me.

I just buy whole chickens for about $1.19/lb and break them down myself.  Boneless skinless breasts, thighs, drumsticks, and wings... then use the remaining carcass for making stock for soups.   And I get a dog treat included for free with the giblets!   The wings get frozen separately for when I want them.  Same with the other parts.  Just store each different part separately until time to make whatever I want with the various parts.   The dark parts are great for smoking and I enjoy them much more that way than the boneless chicken breasts my wife loves.   Costs me less than 1/2 of what it would to buy the parts individually in large packs... and I get extra bonuses from it.   And honestly, it's actually quite relaxing to put some music on in the kitchen, break out the cutting boards and break down some chickens.   I buy them 3 at a time and do them all at once.   Takes a little less than an hour to break down 3 birds and pack them away.

Giant had wings for $1.99 earlier this fall in family backs.  Bought a couple.  Broke down the wings with my boning knife, vacuum packed and froze a few packets and grilled the others.

Roasters or fryers?

MLB free agency begins today.  What moves are you wanting the Phillies to make?

I keep hearing we're favorites for Corey Seager but I'll bet we make a move for Xander Bogaerts

Really? So why just not have nuggets with sauce?  A nicer thing too

Semantics.  Children eat nuggets.  Adults eat wings.

Literally stealing money from the fans.

We had a whole system set up for escheat funds at the insurance corporation I worked for that was decades old.  If a check went uncashed, we called the recipient to find out why and reissued (with corrections if necessary).  If we couldn’t reach the recipient, we surrendered the amount to the applicable state’s unclaimed property fund.  People, should regularly check those funds for states where they lived.  If you inherit an estate, you should regularly check under that name (and keep the paperwork you will need) and should do so for years.  Pretty easy to do online.  But putting money into the fund a decade or more later is way delinquent.  Something smells in DC.

I get boneless 100% of the time. I prefer breast meat. It doesnt have as many vessels running through it, and no cartilage at the ends. Its just meat. Eating that other stuff is gross. I also dont enjoy eating messy foods. Boneless wings can be held with a fork.

There's definitely a good time for boneless and for on the bone. Gotta have my wings and drumsticks at times too man...

Not entirely.  As you say, some boneless wings are cubed chicken breast. Some are true nuggets, which is compressed rib meat, basically the part of the chicken that is left over from boneless (and cartilage free) chicken breasts and tenders.

Yes.  But the term 'boneless wing' is the marketing piece.  The 'term' is 100% marketing.   It is NOT wings.  It is whatever they decide to make into a little cube of meat.    And it's fine.  But, it's not wing meat.  Frankly, the wing meat is too valuable as a true 'wing' for processors to 'waste' that meat in a different form.   Plus getting that meat off the bone would be more challenging and so also not cost effective.

Everything tastes better off the bone.

CBS mock draft

CB Joey Porter Jr - 13th pick

WR Kayshon Boutte - 31st pick

Fryers are the smaller ones for about $1.19/lb.  Roasters are bigger and run more like $1.49/lb.

I normally go with the Fryers because they are more readily available.

I was going to get those wings too, but that was the week my BIL passed away.  So, no time.  No worries though, the sale will happen again, and I currently have about 5 lbs of wings already in the freezer ready to go when I want.

Jalen Hurts on new heights said Cunningham is on his Mt Rushmore of QBs. That’s awesome

CB in the first round is not a bad take.

I highly doubt we take a WR in the first round.  Much more likely to take a D-lineman or perhaps even an offensive lineman if the right guy was available.

Also, chicken parts in the store are made from chickens that have damage to other parts of the body so they can't be sold has whole chickens.  You should buy whole chickens when possible.

I'll tell you what....my niece and nephew love their nuggets.  I've made a few batches of the basic Tyson's nuggets for them and even as an adult, there's just something about them as an I don't feel like cooking, preparing or doing anything meal.

I also just got my first wings of the season during the World Series and they hit the spot.  Love me a good wing.

CB isnt a bad take, but Porter Jr at 13 seems about 20 picks too high for him. Especially when Cam Smith is still on the board in this mock

That's the important part.  Boneless wings aren't wings.  Stop acting like they are wings.  Not remotely close.  The only thing they share with wings is the sauce they are covered in.  The meat is different, the texture of the coating is different and the entire flavor and experience is different.

@TorontoEagle calls his Dino Nuggets "wings”

Never heard of a Clamato Caesar but all I know is I'm craving that just looking at it! Closest thing we get here is V8.

It is like a Bloody Mary.  Clamato juice is available in stores everywhere … an Acme or a Safeway or a Giant near you.  Then all you need is the Caesar recipe.

How is you sister doing?  Holidays can be hard especially after a loss.

Lots of Trea Turner to the Phillies buzz.  Which would be wild.  Finally gets them a top end lead off guy.

They also could use a back end of the rotation starter and bullpen help never hurts.
