Is the bet that over two seasons AJ won’t have 100 catches total counting both years together? If so, that may be one of the dumbest bets I’ve ever seen.

Or Wallace

That would only leave us with 3 safeties. Unless Scott can slide over.

Damn Harold Landry from the titans tore his ACL. Good young defensive player for them.

Like the Sermon pick up

Lost his job to Kennedy Brooks at Oklahoma. Similar size and speed as Brooks. Not much burst and struggles with his vision.

I don’t understand what it is about good entertainment that is so hard to follow here.  What press conferences are are parts of the total NFL entertainment package. they’re like the game they’re part of the total NFL package.

When the script writer of a movie sits down to write a script does he/she immediately tell the audience the ending of the story? Or does he/she try and create some suspense by leave out some of the climax story issues so that people can attempt to figure the ending out themselves?

You and I are already fully committed members of the NFL audience.  Press conferences don’t, and can’t, make you or me any more committed in our loyalty to the product. Honesty has no role in that loyalty … either positively or negatively.

Because it's not good entertainment. Nick isn't trying to entertain anyone, he's being painfully vague for a competitive advantage that isn't even an advantage when the ending is immediately spelled out for everyone 10 minutes after he's done speaking.

It's like if the screen crawl setting up "The Empire Strikes Back" went

Quote

The evil lord Darth Vader,
obsessed with finding young
Skywalker, has dispatched
thousands of remote probes into
the far reaches of space....
he's not going to kill him though, Luke is his son

Pregame shows are awful, especially Fox. Not sure how Jimmy and Terry still have jobs. Two over the hill, bumbling fools.

The only thing worse than the pregame shows is the awful comedy routines everyone has to fake laugh at afterwards

You’re right. Frank Caliendo or whatever? He hasn’t been funny in about 10 years.

I'm inclined to agree with your cold-hearted, despicable ageist take

Johnson just turned 79 and Bradshaw turns 74 tomorrow.  There has to be another former coach and QB who are more in tune with the current game.

I like Brooks too. Given we really didn’t invest much it’s a decent consolation price at RB.

Saints are way overrated. No secondary. Offensive line is in flux. Winston is a turnover machine. Carolina got better and Tampa is still the top dog in that division.

No. Their secondary is very good.

Didn’t sermon get knocked the f out by Wallace last year ?

Pointing the gun is a threat in my book.

Yeah, it's not a holiday greeting

I'm fine there with Sermon. Really liked him coming out for the draft but has looked slow an non explosive with the niners especially this preseason. But he's young enough to take a shot. Hopefully he can be that in-between the tackle guy we need.

Was very good. They only have Lattimore & Mathieu back there if Maye gets suspended/released. Now it’s just good.

I guess in Chicago

when healthy their secondary has the potential to actually be good. Have Lattimore, roby and paul adobo as the corners. If maye isn’t suspended he and mathieu are actually a nice tandem (assuming maye fully returns from his injury). Frankly i think maye and mathieu are better players than what jenkins was last year. Losing Williams hurts but as a pairing i think maye and mathieu have a chance to be good. Solid backup in pj Williams. Tbh i think part of the reason they didn’t want to pay what Cgj was asking was due to adebo and what they believe he can become.

Maybe a dumb question… but does this mean he fired the weapon? Or just hit someone with it? Perhaps just pointed the gun at them?

I think it could mean just pointing the weapon. In most states, there's a higher felony for inflicting injury.

That's a non-cooking injury.

Didn’t they break the Reagor deal with Minnesota?

News said stay tuned later tonight for News on Seth Joyner???

Don't see anything in google. Anyone have the scope?

@EagleJoe8 @GroundAttack Either of you going to do the weekly game threads for the league this season? If not then that's fine. Just asking
