50% of NFL teams have a losing record at the halfway mark.  Yay parity.

Are you talking 5 people out of 10 million? Who cares?

It's a lot more than 5 people. It seems to be the new adopted narrative of fans. I hear it all over sports radio too.

I get calling the penalty in a 51 to 49 votes close call but ejection is BS.

Kinda of tired of watching QBs trying to get one more yard by going head first - not smart.

Are people really that insecure? Who gives a F what anyone says about the Eagles and who’ve they’ve beaten. Can we act like adults please? Hell, I’d rather people doubt the Eagles. It feels better when the team wins.

It’s all in good fun. It has nothing to do with being insecure. Those fans said it, our fans called them on it. It’s a game, not a job.

Also, if you have the mentality of who gives a F about what they say about us why would you give a F about what our fans say to them?

It's the easiest excuse to use when trying to downplay a win.

I definitely thought it was worthy of a penalty. Didn’t like the ejection but I’m guessing they want the message sent to players about QBs and delivering those types of hits.

Penalty, sure. Ejecting though is weak. It’s looks bang bang even in slow motion.

Damn embiid came up 1 point short of 60. Went 59 points, 11 boards, 8 assists and 7 blocks… bum lol

So the national media hates us. Not the team, not the players. Us.

They have been taught by New York that we are all bad.

Its why you now have talking heads talking about how one NFL Executive predicts the Eagles will be 1-and-done in the playoffs. Its why the 49ers are getting hyped as the clearly most talented team in the NFC. Its why Dallas was really the best team in the NFC East (oops on that one).

If 5 or 10 or 20 or 100 or 1000 Philly fans want every pathetic loser with a big mouth and delusions to F off then I agree with them.

I myself would not have called that a penalty even though it was close. Herbert was reckless.

I don't even think it's real. I think the national media has kinda been slobbering over the Eagles, honestly. I haven't seen a lot of anti Eagles sentiments in the media.

What people are reacting to is random Cowboys fans named Steve0974833234553 on Twitter going "Durrr.. wHo hAvE the Eagles beat???"

Which is probably why I find it annoying. It represents a major pet peeve of mine where people are "too online" and think social media narratives represent the reality, when most of the time they don't. And people allow social media to drive their rooting interests. I can't tell you how many people I see who will root against teams in the playoffs... not because of a Philly rivalry. Not because they have a player that is hated by Philly fans. But because their fans are annoying on Twitter.

If social media is influencing someone's fandom, go outside and get some fresh air.

As you’re letting people on social media annoy you to this degree. Take your own advice.

Meh...the whole media and jealous fans of other teams narrative has been that the Eagles haven't played anyone and that they aren't sold.  Don't mind Eagles fans standing up for the team.  They beat the teams on their their schedule.  They are who their record says they are...

Agreed - it was bang, bang - just because the golden boy got his bell rung doesn’t mean a defender is at fault. The league affords these guys a lot of protection, they should you use it.

Lol

Its everywhere, brah. This is FS1 with 2 former Eagles.

I'm not making any of it up. FS1 and NFL Network is not some guy in a basement.

it does not bother me as much as it does them and it does not bother me anywhere near as much as they bother the OP.

When people who can't bother to use Google spout tin foil stuff then I always use Google and show them that they are wrong.

Fair enough, but I won’t still be ranting about it 5 weeks from now. I got my rant out and that’s that. Although maybe it’s indicative of how good the Eagles are there isn’t a lot of real stuff to **** about if you’re the fans. The #1 topic on sports radio this week was: "do you want the Eagles to go undefeated or do they need to lose to be humbled?”

Btw Dak has more turnovers than Hurts this year.

The helmet to helmet contact by the defender is gonna draw a flag every time. Tbh i think that’s what made it look worse.

I didn’t say there weren’t random morons here or there who have an agenda, but it’s certainly not ubiquitous. Hell, even Skip Bayless has been praising the Eagles this year. There’s always going to be a troll takesman or two who has an agenda against any team, but they’re definitely the outlier for the Eagles this year. They’ve been praised all year by both the old school football pundits and the analytics guys adore the Eagles.

I live in an area with fans of multiple different teams. They ask me that every single day. It’s a really dumb question. These guys are professionals not fans. They have been humbled many of times. Losing in week 12 has no impact on the playoffs. Every player takes playoff games seriously. Root for history. Hoping your team loses to be humble is just overthinking.

Every QB in the league that has started at least 3 games this season has more turnovers than Hurts this year.
