I like it a lot. But Gibbs needs to be a DT instead. In this class Im pretty confident we can still get an awesome RB with the next pick after Overshown.

I think Gibbs can be special.   I'd jump on him there.

The race for the 1st seed is going to be tough. Vikings have 5 home games out of the next 6 games, with their lone away game being @ Lions. That said they will help us wrap up the division quicker most likely. They play home games vs Dallas and Giants. Giants @ Dallas coming up soon as well, which will be a big game. Assuming Dallas loses at Vikings and dropping to 6-4, they will need that win vs Giants.

Eagles need to focus on one game at a time.  They have some challenging games in the last half of the season.  Right now both the giants and the cowpads are battling with the 49ers for wildcard positions.  Would not be surprised to see the 49ers pass Seattle.    Vikings likely have the NFC North wrapped up.  Do we pull for the giants against the Vikings?

@LeanMeanGM Thanks again for tracking all this...

So, Prime Time at the Linc, Cold night, plenty of Tailgate Time, Eagle Fans will be in full voice...:smoke:

Everybody knows the stakes, No letdown, Eagles on a Mission. One game at a time is Real.

Nice Mini-Bye, key players are all healthy , Locked and Loaded for this one...

Theme should be Run the ball, Play action and beat the Secondary when they cheat up. No Chance, arguably their best Run-Stopper will seriously hurt their Run D. Our Dogs will open the holes, Boobie should go off. Gainwell, love him or not, will get his inside yards, Miles puts up 100+...Scott in relief sees good numbers.

Our Boy Jalen continues to protect the ball, make his reads and distribute correctly. Calm, effective. I like him.

By the middle of the Third Qtr, Eagles are getting whatever they want. Commode Doors have no answer. Eagles exert their will.

Eagles not coasting, continue to apply pressure and force Commode Doors to Defend all parts of the field. Tonight is a Quez night as they focus on stopping AJ, Quez gets some nice looks and catches...

Gonna have to say that the D will own Heineke, he may not finish the game. He has a couple good plays in him but all for naught. Riddick will haunt his dreams all next week. Brandon Graham with another key strip sack just for fun.

Defense gives up a TD on Commode Doors first drive, giving Wash hope, after that, shutdown. I expect a complete game from the D after that, Toilet Boys stymied at every turn. McLaurin rendered impotent. Wash Punter seeks Therapy...

Anybody unclear on how I call this one?

Eagles will cruise to 9-0 on a Divisional Win, re-enter the conversation as the Team to beat. We don't care. Moving on!

Give me:

Eagles                     34

Commode Doors  10

Bonus Prediction...Mailata catches a TD pass :Eagle_smiley:

...in your face, Snyder...again!

When Brady (and Giselle) became "brand ambassadors” for FTX, there was an equity acquisition as part of the deal.  As more dirt comes out on FTX and it’s use of customer money through Ambassador, one wonders how long Brady can remain silent on the matter. First the divorce and now FTX to all weigh on TB.   He seems to be able to ignore controversy on the field but cracks showed during his divorce.  One hopes he starts getting peppered with some FTX related questions. I suspect the Bucs win the NFC South but stumble doing it.

That FTX story gets wilder by the day too. Someone is gonna make a ton of money making a movie and documentary about it.

Carter/Foskey would be a great first round return too. But yeah there are some good Edges in round 2-3. No excuse to not overhaul the DL this off-season.

The ol' double dip - it's a conversation that comes around each year and sometimes it happens w/ premium picks:

Famously in 2002 Lito (1) and Sheldon (2)

2010: BG (1) and Daniel Te'o-Nesheim (3)

2014 w/ Chipper: Matthews (2) and Huff (3)

2017: Sidney the walking-wounded (2) and Rasul (3)

PFF has updated its Big Board:

2. Edge Will Anderson, Alabama

You won’t find many 243-pound edge rushers who come with no concerns about their size. And that’s just how powerful and explosive Anderson is.

After leading the country in pressures as a true sophomore, Anderson has 44 so far this season as the focal point of the Bama defense.

5. DI Jalen Carter, Georgia

Carter has been hampered by an injury in the early going and has been limited to only 132 snaps. However, his work as a sophomore in 2021 is enough to solidify his top-five draft stock, as he led the Bulldogs with a 90.0 pass-rushing grade.

6. DI Bryan Bresee, Clemson

Bresee is not your run-of-the-mill defensive tackle. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, he’s not holding an ounce of bad weight and could pass for a defensive end from a build perspective. He’s one of the best pure penetrators in the class and earned a 76.0 pass-rushing grade this season.

8. Edge Myles Murphy, Clemson

Murphy is still a bit of a bull in a china shop, but at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds, he’s one strong bull. You see it most in the run game, where Murphy has earned a 72.0-plus grade in every season of his career

Don't know much about Bresee, thoughts?

Bresee is my guy. I'd love to have him plus Hargrave extended. Cox can go. Maybe you can even trade back a few and still nab him, perfect world scenario.

Will be interesting if Brady is subject to the personal conduct policy as an equity owner and ambassador.  I doubt it.  After the NFL ignored the Flying J issue and tried to sweep Snydergate under the rug, it seems white collar crime is perfectly fine but young men doing stupid things like drinking too much or driving too fast are unacceptable.  Continue to think the personal conduct approach is skewed.  Maybe it fits our society where we tend to seem more upset about smash and grabs (yes a crime but net stolen is maybe in the low thousands) than Elizabeth Holmes, who defrauded billions of dollars and thinks she should get probation.  Goodell thinks a WR on IR betting hundreds on a gambling site should be suspended for a year but smiles as team owners get in bed with the same gambling organizations.  Part of me hopes the DC AG gets discovery that nails Goodell to the wall.  Not mentioned much because of the focus on Snyder at the last owners meeting, but have to wonder how the owners felt about their "share” of the St. Louis settlement.  Given what came out about what Goodell knew about the land purchase before the move, shouldn’t he be subject to suspension under the personal conduct policy?  That is literally what drove the decision to settle.

Not surprising about the bears, a QB who ru s more than he passes isn't a sustainable winning strategy

If fields can become a passer first which I've seen nothing to suggest he can, he could be really lethal.

He won't be the first running QB to never develop as a passer, won't be the last.

That Saints pick is looking better and better every week.💪

If the Eagles own draft choice is in the 30s next year and he is on the board still, how would we feel if Howie drafted Bijan Robinson with that pick?  If Howie pulled a deal like he did with the Ravens dropping into the second round and Robinson was available there, would that influence the decision?  Bad year for Robinson given the free agent RB group.

No one knew what Sam was doing at FTX so hard for him to take any blame for it

He's had a habit of throwing directly to the defense in the last few games which is bizarre. It's not like he's getting intercepted on 50/50 throws and taking risks. They're literally 0/100.

Brett Favre disease.

Disney suggesting cost cutting, a hiring freeze and possibly layoffs.  Suspect ESPN continues to get shaved.  Guess championship cornhole and World Chase Tag just aren’t bringing in the audience.  Should dump Buck and Aikman for the Mannings.

Honestly wouldnt love the pick. There are a lot of good, starting quality RBs that will be FA this year and not all of them will get top dollar. If Sanders doesnt take a team friendly deal and we let him walk, then we should sign one of the FA RBs that dont get signed early on in the offseason and one that will come here on the cheap 1 year prove it deal because they will have an opportunity to get a significant # of snaps behind this Oline. Then draft a RB in the 3rd. Even if we are able to resign Sanders, I would want us to draft a RB in the 3rd. We could have a good young trio of RBs if that were to happen. Scott would be the odd man out.

"Personal Conduct Policy" seriously selective. " Do as I say" and all that.

All about who's holding the purse strings, So sad.

Hold em all (Players AND Owners) to the same standard or it means nothing. Billionaires policing themselves while supporting the double standard.

Players with no real recourse, appeal to a jaundiced hierarchy, accept your fate and shut up. Meanwhile, Owners making dark moves to improve their positions and exerting influence to achieve their own goals...Tax money to build their Cathedrals, acquire the land, get the Tax breaks... In bed with Local Officials, everybody gets a taste,

Is this the NFL today? Big Biz steamrolling the system, protecting their own and raping the Fan and the Taxpayer?

Used to be a time it was all about the Football. Now it's about protecting and improving the Billionaire's positions....

Bread and Circuses...The Divide has never been greater...

His turnovers have been a problem the last couple weeks. But I went back and rewatch the game because it was a fun game to watch anyways, but watching his passes from about 10 yards or more they weren’t nearly as crisp and accurate. They were high. They were behind. They were too far in front. over the last two years where he’s taking a massive step up is he’s been very accurate on those from about 10 to 25 yards.

In this game it was not that. Stefon Diggs had a really nice catch down the field, but that ball was thrown really high and he made a great catch to get it and pull it in.

Personally  I don’t think he should’ve been playing in the game. I don’t think his elbow is close to 100%.  Also noticeable on the rewatch, they really didn’t take as many deep shots down field as they normally do. some of that was the weather at the start of the game, but I don’t think they’re gonna take many deep shots right now because I don’t think his elbow is right. Their longest completion was that 25 yard diggs reception. Knox had 22 as the second and his was a run after catch. I believe this was the first game all season where they didn’t attempt a downfield pass over 40 yards.

TCU did a good job of bottling him up on Saturday.  I was hoping to see what everyone was liking in Robinson, but TCU had other plans.
